Holiday Plaid

Shoes: Kate Spade c/o Piperlime (on sale now!)
Necklace: c/o Dress & Dwell, Forever 21
Bracelet: Lily & Laura, J. Crew Factory (on sale now)

No doubt that when I think of plaid, I think of the holidays. Something about it seems so festive.  So naturally, adding plaid to my holiday attire was a must. Here was my take on a dressy, casual look. This J. Crew skirt dressed up the plaid a bit. I've probably overworn this skirt, but it goes with every occasion! My favorite time of the year to wear it is during Christmas. I definitely think investing in a staple holiday piece is a must. They will last and always look great. It will be no surprise that I will create another outfit with this skirt (hint, hint foreshadowing). Although J. Crew no longer sells this skirt, I went on a hunt to find several skirts that I believe have similar look and will always be on trend. Shop them below :)

  12. This ensemble is great. Plaid is for any time of the year. Agreed, red plaid does have that festive feel especially this time of year. Whatever the case, you look adorable. Great styling.
