How to Beat Winter Skin Woes

Anyone here suffer awful skin during the Winter? You get dry, rough, and patchy skin and sometimes it leads to breakouts?! Well, this girl definitely does. This year, I took the initiative to make my skincare a priority. There are so many benefits to taking care of your skin.

On top of having naturally dry skin, I experienced having the worst skin condition during chemo. The chemo just over-dried my skin that it even hurt to have any facial expression. My doctors told me I just needed to continue to hydrate. I was slabbing on moisturizers and vaseline like no other. Unfortunately, my skin still managed to be dry, rough, and patchy. So I decided to experiment with different brands.

One day after my surgery, I had my cousin and sister run to a store and I asked them to get me a really good face mask. They returned with Patchology's mud masque in sheet mask style. They were told it was one of the best masks. So we tried it.  Since this mud mask was packaged like a sheet mask I love how it didn't make any mess! Washing it off my face was so easy. If you used a mud mask before then you know it is messy and stubborn to wash off. After I dried my face, I couldn't stop touching my face. It's so rare to find a mask that made my face sooooo silky smooth. I couldn't believe it! From that experience, I became a Patchology fan.

The rest of Patchology's line is amazing. A lot of their products are made for a girl on the go. Their eyepatch gel, lip renewal gel, and sheet mask only require 5 minutes! I was shocked and hesitant about the 5 minutes, but as soon as I took off the mask, the masks did what it was supposed to do. Seriously amazing!! With me trying to juggle work, the blog, and other personal stuff, their skincare line could not have been more perfect. I always feel like I am limited with time that it can make it hard to dedicate time to take care of my skin. Patchology makes it so easy to take care of your skin.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Patchology line, Patchology is a lifestyle-inspired skincare brand that creates products designed to keep up with busy people's on-the-go needs.

Below are the detailed descriptions of my favorite skincare products. If you want to try them out (which I highly recommend!), you can get it 25% off with the code RACH25.

SMARTMUD NO MESS MUD MASQUE: DETOX This mask is my absolutely favorite! So if you were wondering which one to try first, this is the product to try. This mask purifies your skin and removes any pore-clogging debris while clearing up your complexion. Your skin will have a healthy glow.

EYE REVIVE FLASHPATCH 5 MINUTE HYDROGELS This eyepatch gel only takes 5 minutes! It helps eliminate puffiness, fatigue, and dryness. You can use this patch in place of your eye cream or serum. It leaves you looking like "You woke up like this".

FLASHMASQUE 5 MINUTE FACIAL SHEETS: HYDRATE This sheet mask is used for hydrating your skin. It adds back vitamins to your skin so it can help you improve the elasticity and smoothness of your skin. It deeply hydrates your skin for even more moisture. This mask only takes 5 minutes and it leaves you with a dewy look.

LIP RENEWAL FLASHPATCH 5 MINUTE HYDROGELS This lip gel patch moisturizes and softens your lips and helps diminish the appearance of vertical lip lines. So say goodbye to those chapped, flaky lips!

FLASHMASQUE 5 MINUTE FACIAL SHEETS: ILLUMINATE This sheet mask brightens your skin. It is designed to even out your skin tone while hydrating your skin. This mask leaves you with a perfect glow.

I am seriously in love with this brand. If it was able to help my skin during chemo (and it was bad), then I know for sure it is the best of the best. Although this post is sponsored, I was a Patchology fan before they reached out to me (as noted above, discovered them during treatments). So you can imagine how excited I was when they wanted to work with me! If you guys try them out (don't forget 25% off with code RACH25), I really want to know what you think! Did it help you with your Winter skin woes?

  8. I'm glad the mud mask worked. I also have super, super dry skin, which is worse in the winter, so I am constantly hydrating. I actually went to the dermatologist to get a cream because I just couldn't take it any more, lol.

  21. In winter I always get super dry skin and for some reason my skin color is less brown, maybe because of the lack of sunlight. I am so glad there is something to cure the dryness, thanks for the tip!
