This weekend was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. I am now feeling more hopeful that we are having Spring weather. Everything around the city came alive and everyone was in a good mood. I was in such a good mood that I decided to take a break from the blog and social media and enjoy living in the present and embracing the good weather. Hence why there was no blog post on Friday and I did not share any photos on Instagram. I will admit I still used Snapchat (@rdsobsessions) and used InstaStories. However, I felt like they didn't require much effort and I still enjoy sharing the things I do.
Whenever we have good weather, I find it so much easier to want to put a little bit more effort in dressing up and wearing my favorite clothes like this lace top from Chicwish. I didn't wear it this past weekend, but I do want to share that this is for sure one of my favorite tops from Spring. When I wear this top, I feel so good in it. These days I have been struggling finding tops that make me feel "pretty" (thanks cancer treatments) that I thought for sure this top would let me down. Luckily, when I put it on I was beaming. I am a sucker for lace, so the lace fabric gave me that initial boost to love this top. What makes this top so great is that it is flattering. I didn't feel so self-conscious in it and it was so comfortable. I do love the ruffled hem and the subtle drop waist style.
Oh and if you all are looking for the perfect boyfriend jeans, this pair from Old Navy is amazing. I sang Old Navy's praises on their Rockstar skinny jeans collection, well here I am singing their praises on their straight leg boyfriend jeans. They're so so so comfortable!! I practically live in them haha! They're also just as reasonable as their rockstar collection. A good pair of jeans for under $40 is a win in my book!
