Montreal Day 4

Our fourth day in Montreal was exploring places we wanted to see again. After walking around, we wanted to visit our favorite spots/places one more time and soak it all in before we had to leave the following morning. We purchased our cute trinkets and souvenirs from my favorite boutiques, ate at our favorite Bistro, and walked on our favorite street.

I always find the last full day of any trip to be so bittersweet. So excited and looking forward to sleeping in my own bed but sad that the adventure is coming to an end. Without a doubt, it is a good thing and we are blessed.

If you missed my other Montreal outfits, I shared day one, two, three, and five (haha yes, I started sharing the last day first).

The Embroidered Shirt

I shared it before that embroidery is trending and I knew I wanted more. So when I was planning out my outfits for this trip and saw this pink embroidered shirt, I just had to have it. Knowing that it would be a little bit chilly there, it was perfect! This shirt is also a great way to incorporate embroidery into work outfits. It has that classic button down, oxford style and the embroidery details are not too loud. It just elevates your classic workwear style. I am planning on wearing it with skinny jeans and slingback flats.

However, for this trip I thought it would be fun to pair it with flared jeans. Something about the wide leg and high-waist style makes it a little Parisian (or Parisienne - anyone know the right way to spell this?). Plus, I was banking on Chicago getting warmer soon so this would be my last opportunity to wear flared jeans before I would be wearing dresses and skirts for the summer months.

By the way, I'm considering sharing more of my workwear style on Instagram. Let me know if that is something you all would like to see more often. I am in the office only 2-3 days a week and the rest I work from home. Hopefully I can find a co-worker willing to take my photos haha! These will all be iPhone shots.
