Hope you all a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and had some great weather! Chicago got lucky and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. Overall, I had a great weekend. I had my bachelorette on Saturday which no doubt was a night to remember ;). Unfortunately, I woke up with a really bad cold Saturday morning. My nose was runny, my eyes were watery, and I was coughing. However, I still managed to have a great time since I was surrounded by such great friends and family. I can’t let a cold get in the way of my day (and night)!  My bachelorette was kept a mystery. I had no idea what we were doing until the day of.  So I decided to keep my look casual during the day. Plus, it was the perfect opportunity to wear my ‘Bride’ tee from J. Crew.  My outfit actually worked out because we went to the cutest store in Wicker Park called One Strange Bird. It is basically a mixture of those Paint & Wine spaces/venues meets Anthropologie. I posted a preview of the store on Instagram. Drinking wine and learning to paint was tons of fun. I was surprised that my painting looked somewhat decent (I think the wine helped haha!). More details on the nighttime festivities in the next post 🙂

P.S. I can’t believe I’m getting married one month from day!!
