Wedding season has officially come to an end for us.  Tre and I attended our last wedding of the year. Two weeks ago, we celebrated the marriage of a couple of our good friends. It was a beautiful wedding and the day was gorgeous! Could not have asked for better weather in October. We definitely had a lot of fun 🙂

When I was searching for a dress for this occasion, I knew I wanted to tie in fall-like colors without losing the brightness and cheeriness of a wonderful day. I also wanted the dress to be weather appropriate. October is always a toss up in Chicago – sometimes it’s cold, sometimes it’s hot. So when I came across this Sheinside dress, I knew right away it was perfect. The dress has sleeves that can warm up my shoulders if I’m chilly, but the lace fabric allows my arms to breath in case it is hot. The cobalt blue can easily transition into fall but still bold and bright and makes a statement without much accessorizing. Of course, I couldn’t help but pair the dress with fuchsia heels. Blue & fuchsia are such a great combo!
