How was everyone’s weekend?! Another Monday to conquer. I think this week will be a short week for me because I have surgery tomorrow (on my birthday haha) and will probably need the week to recover. So this weekend my family and I decided to celebrate my birthday. It was awesome and we had a great time. My cousins and sister went with me to Hope 25’s Beautiful Event (I shared clips of it in my Insta Story). It was amazing! It was an event dedicated to young women cancer fighters and survivors and celebrated how beautiful they are.
Initially, I wanted to wear this Gingham Off Shoulder Top for my birthday dinner with my family. After taking these photos, I was too cold! The wind was so harsh! I’m sure you can tell by looking at the photos haha. It kept going up my shirt! Nevertheless, I still love this top. This gingham off shoulder top has quite the dramatic bell sleeves. I felt so fashion forward and feminine in this outfit. I also love how it has a gingham print. Gingham, in my opinion, is the print of Spring and Summer. Anytime I see gingham I think of Spring and Summer.
Since this top has a dramatic style, I decided to keep everything else simple. I paired it with my favorite pair of black skinny jeans. My exact pair is sold out at Abercrombie & Fitch, but these Hudson Jeans have a similar look – high waisted and exposed button fly (the buttons are my favorite part!). For a pair of Hudson Jeans, they are affordable because they are marked down to $117 at Nordstrom. I think that is a steal!
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
