Chicago, can you please make up your mind?! One day it is in the 80’s and sunny and the next day it drops to the 40’s. I’m not joking at all. This has been Chicago’s weather for the past couple of weeks. It gave me false hope that warm weather is here to stay. Seriously, I would be in shorts and tank tops one day and the next day I’m wearing an oversized scarf, boots, and wool coat. Going from hot to 40 & 50 degrees makes it feel like it is FREEZING. If you asked me about 40’s and 50’s a couple months ago, that would have been heavenly. Funny how having nice weather changes your perspective. It also plays with my emotions. I would be so happy and in the best mood ever when we have nice weather.  The following day when the temperature drops, I’m hating everything haha! So this look is when the temperatures drop. This is my go to commuting look – comfortable, casual, and classic. P.S. I bought this Loft two-in-one sweater a few months ago. You can also recreate this look by layering this Loft chambray shirt with this J. Crew Factory sweater. Not gonna lie, taking photos without my coat was brutal!! I hope you all are experiencing much better weather than we are.

  2. I can relate to your weather letdown, but in reverse. During our "winter" months I'm so happy when it dips into the 60's one day, but then the next day it's 80 degrees! Anyway, you look great in this casual outfit. Loving the touch of leopard from the sneakers and that beautiful tan bag!

  10. Ugg, it's that way here too. Despite the cool down, I braved the winds and chill and wore a dress. BOOM mother nature! (; Hopefully the weekend turns around!

  24. Ok this is too funny, I have made a hot/cold post yesterday on the blog too!!! HAHAHAHA Montreal doesn't want to make up its mind on the weather either!! Love the look, leopard slides are always my fav too 🙂
