So sorry for the lack of posting!! So many things were going on that I had to prioritize my commitments. The couple weeks leading up to our wedding was hectic. Not only did we have a lot of wedding details to finalize but work for the both of us got crazy a.k.a putting in a lot of extra hours. Then of course we had issues with our sump pump which is another story and nightmare to deal with.  After work we had meetings with wedding vendors or getting caught up with emails that it ended up too late to do any blogging :(. Finally, Tre and I decided we should try to enjoy every minute of the wedding planning and the wedding and put certain things aside. I must say my wedding was the best day and night of my life. Seriously, our vendors knocked it out of the park! Everything exceeded our expectations (aside from the downpouring rain). I posted a sneak peek photo here. I can’t wait to see the rest of our wedding photos! Everything about our wedding was totally worth the time and effort and I wish I can re-live it! Now, on to this outfit. Here is something I wore for the Fourth. This was an old dress I completely forgot I owned (HA!). With the beautiful summer weather, I thought the vibrant colors and prints were appropriate for the occasion. We kept the day super casual and laid back. We did some shopping and walking around the city and later that evening we decided to head to the harbor to watch some fireworks along the lakefront. I made some guacamole and pasta salad for us to munch during our little picnic. Overall, it was a great evening! What did you guys do this holiday?

  1. When I first looked at this dress I kept thinking, "Something about this looks so familiar…" and then when you said it was an old F21 dress it dawned on me, I used to have one like it! It was purple but had the same great detailing on the hem. This dress looks beautiful on you! *why didn't I keep miiiine??*

  9. So glad to see you're back! But sorry to hear things were so hectic! Hopefully all of the tough stuff is behind you. I have been having a hard time managing with items at the office as well. There just do not seem to be enough hours in the day, right?! Love this dress on you though! And the reflective glasses are just too cute! XO
