Sorry it has been a little quiet here on the blog. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, we were traveling this past week. I really think traveling is good for the soul. And I love exploring new places, learning about new places, and experiencing the culture. I will definitely share more from where we were and a travel guide soon!

As I promised in previous posts, I will share more collaborations with brands that give back. Today is about a brand that gives back to people diagnosed with cancer. As you all may know, this is very dear to me.

I am a fan of beautifully crafted jewelry. I’m sure all of you have heard of Swarovski crystals. They are known for their elegant, timeless, and high quality crystals. Without a doubt, receiving any piece made out of Swarovski crystal is a treat! What if I told you that you can get a custom design Swarovski crystal jewelry? What if I told you that the custom design Swarovski crystal jewelry had a purpose?

Well that is what Meaka Lee is all about it. The owner creates beautiful, handcrafted jewelry made out of Swarovski crystal. Ever since her sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer she decided that her jewelry should come with a purpose. Each time a piece of jewelry is purchased from Meaka Lee, a second jewelry piece is donated to someone who is battling or has battled cancer. The hope is that these jewelry pieces share love and show support to someone we love who experienced cancer. The owner of Meaka Lee is passionate about the #LIVEBEAUTIFLEE movement. Her experiences with several family members diagnosed with cancer has had a profound impact on her and she wants the movement of supporting those who are and have battled cancer to continue strongly.

This movement may seem small, but whenever I receive a gift or package it makes my day. I forget the struggles I have with cancer and I feel so much more grateful for the life I am living and the people who are supporting me. It makes my day to know that someone else is thinking of me.

If you don’t know anyone who has or is battling cancer, Meaka Lee will take care of that for you.

They will select someone for you from a cancer center they are working with. You can have the opportunity to send that person a message as well! Little gestures like these go a long way and make the battle easier 🙂

I decided to keep my outfit simple to showcase my necklace. I love its timeless look and rose gold color. And I couldn’t help but pair it with a classic A-line dress, off the shoulder with pockets of course ;).

    Cancer hits close to my home too so I love that this brand gives back to cancer survivors. Plus breast cancer is so wide-spread, it has affected members of my family too. Love that dainty necklace and that stunning hot pink off-shoulder dress you paired it with. IRL today I also wore a pretty pink off-shoulder dress. I will blog it tomorrow.
