I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day and gave a big thank you and spoiled the important ladies in our lives! We celebrated the entire weekend. Hopefully my mom enjoyed being spoiled 🙂
Starting off this week with sharing my first outfit on day one of our trip to Montreal. I know I started backwards by sharing my last outfit in Friday’s post, but I just thought that outfit was appropriate to share before the weather starts to permanently get warm (oh I can’t wait!).
A few hours after we arrived (and freshened up a bit), we headed to Montreal’s Clock Tower right by the Old Port. It is a historical monument and we couldn’t resist checking it out up close and personal since we were able to see that Clock Tower from afar. We were glad we checked it out because it’s set up in the perfect spot. It is right along the port so you get a pretty view of Montreal and the river. There’s a park right next to it where people love to have picnics and the walkway was beautiful!
Knowing that Montreal is a French speaking city, I couldn’t help but get my outfit inspirations from Parisian streetstyle (or is it Parisienne? I don’t know, do you know?). I thought it was the perfect opportunity to wear a neck scarf.
Wear a Neck Scarf
The neck scarf was one of those trends that I loved on others but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. It wasn’t until a year ago that I tried it out by purchasing an affordable neck scarf on Amazon and I loved how it looked! (P.S. I can’t believe that was me a year ago during the middle of my chemo! You bet I was rocking that wig!) Since Parisians (or Parisiennes) wear the neck scarf so well, I figured why not in Montreal? If you haven’t tried this trend yet, I think it is so worth trying!
If I sorta, kinda, somewhat convinced you to try this trend, below are my top 5 favorite neck scarves. Let me know what you think of this trend! Most of my picks are $10 and under!
