Montreal Day Two

Today I am sharing my outfit from day two of our trip to Montreal. On the second day we walked around Old Montreal to get our bearings where everything was and explored the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. Oh my it is such a beautiful church! Every time I walk into an old Catholic church, I am mesmerized because they don’t make churches like these anymore. The amount of details and artistry that goes into the church is incredible. The Notre Dame did not disappoint and I can totally see why Celine Dion wanted to get married there. In the travel guide that I will share soon, I will go into more detail what the Notre-Dame offered to visitors/viewers. One word: mesmerizing.

The Most Comfortable Heels

Montreal is a walking city and I decided to test my boundaries. I brought along my favorite cap-toe heels. They’re my favorite because in my opinion, they are the most comfortable heels ever! The minute I slip my foot in those babies, it is like musical chimes come out because my feet feel so good in it. I’ve worn these heels a few times at work and not once did I complain about it.
So I brought them to Montreal, and they did not disappoint. They were super duper comfortable. I will be honest, I was initially drawn to these heels because they have the same cap-toe look and style as the Chanel ones. But unfortunately I don’t have an extra $2K (or $500 for a used one) to burn. Hello mortgage, bills, and cancer treatment (errrr we need more funding to get cancer treatment affordable!). So anyways, if you love the Chanel heels as much as I do, these cap-toe dupes are the perfect alternative (your feet and bank account will thank you). I had flats that were not as comfortable as these heels.
Silly me, I didn’t take a close up photo of them in Montreal. I did take a flatlay that I shared on Instagram a while ago. So here it is again so you can get a closer look at it.
Block heel cap-toe pumps

They also come in a variety of styles. I am wearing the classic block heeled one. They also come in slingback style (I really like this one for the summer!), cork, flats, or booties (perfect for Fall!).

You're very brave to choose to wear heels for sightseeing. They must REALLY be comfortable! My feet always hurt after a day of walking, even if I'm wearing sneakers!

I love these Chanel cap toe dupes! I bought two different styles from Zara and have no regrets as the style is so classic. Unfortunately one of the pairs aren't as comfy and give me blisters whenever I wear =(
