Love Me Some Pleated Wide-Leg Pants
You guys, I have this thing for pleated wide-leg pants. I can’t get enough of them. Earlier in the Spring I wore this floral one, and I got so many compliments on it. And after that, I wanted more pleated wide-leg pants!
Why I Love Them
In general, I love any wide-leg pants. They’re so flattering! And they can easily make your outfit look so chic. If you don’t know what I mean, seriously go find a pair of wide-leg pants and just a white tee and tell me what you think. I bet you it would look chic.
Anyways, when I came across these pleated wide-leg pants, omg I was obsessed. I didn’t even want to try it on because I knew I would love it and then buy it. With a very little push from my friend, I tried it on. And it was love. Haha that might be a little dramatic, but I really like it!
The Benefits
Overall, I just love how the pleats give it a skirt like effect. Like the floral one I mentioned earlier, everyone thought that I was wearing a midi skirt. I’m like, nope they’re pants! They have the cuteness of a skirt but convenience of pants (aka hassle-free with movement). So on a windy day, I don’t need to worry about the wind exposing me to the world. Trust me, it does happen in Chicago UGH. I’m over there trying to hold down my skirt like the Marilyn Monroe scene. Just not as cute.
