Rack it up

Last Wednesday I realized I did not have a new outfit to wear on my birthday for when Tre and I go out to dinner at Publican. I’m not the type to make a big deal about my birthday, but it’s always exciting to wear a new dress for a ‘special’ occasion. Something about a new outfit makes you feel special, like it gives you an extra boost of confidence. I have been recently inspired by my favorite bloggers’ finds at Nordstrom Rack, that I decided to scope it out since its been a while. I was surprised that I immediately found this dress. It was everything I was looking for without knowing what I was looking for! Now that’s how you know you found a really good dress. Without a question, I snatched the dress off the rack, tried it on, paid it, and left. Oh by the way, I did not spend more than $39!! Score! 

As I mentioned, Tre and I went to dinner at Publican Friday night, and it was amazing. It was definitely worth the hype. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was constantly checking up on us, and the food was delicious! We ordered from raw oysters to brussels sprouts salad to yellow tail fish (it was Friday so we avoided meat). There was nothing to complain about. Also, their cocktails were great! They were very refreshing. Hope you all had a great weekend!
