That Maxi Dress

I love maxi dresses. Although I haven’t shown much on the blog, I’ve been wearing them all summer. They’re super comfortable and a great way to look more feminine on an every day look. This DKNY one has always been a long time favorite. It’s no longer available, but I was able to find very similar dresses which I have linked below!

This dress is so old that I actually wore it on the blog before on here. I’m slightly embarrassed to share it, but it is kinda cool to see how much the blog as evolved. I think going forward I will do more repeat outfits because that is who I am. I buy clothes and I do wear them more than once. They may be styled different, but it is all the same. Plus, I talk about versatility a lot and it would be nice to showcased that to you guys. I want this blog to be as genuine as possible.

P.S. I just realized this is my last full week of work before my medical leave! How Crazy!!

    I love wearing maxi dresses. This one looks gorgeous on you! And haha, I also have some pretty embarrassing old posts on my blog- before my blog was a fashion blog, it was all beauty and there were a ton of amateur iPhone shots of my face. Yeah… those posts are long deleted, haha.

    I love maxi dresses too! They are so comfortable and perfect for summer! Also, I love that you will be doing more closet rewinds because I think that's so true, we all buy clothes and wear them multiple times and styled different ways and it's great to show versatility.     I too love maxi dresses, but since losing weight have yet to buy any this year! A lot of them fit so funny or have crazy prints. I need basic, or something like this that's toned down! (;

      Aren't they the best?! Well this is perfect timing for your because a lot of maxi's have been on sale lately and I am trying so hard not to buy anymore haha! I do agree a neutral maxi is the best!

    I LOVE this dress! The watercolor print is so perfect for the beach — nothing wrong with an oldie but goodie when it's as good as this! I like your decision to feature pieces more than once on the blog. I've definitely re-worn several of mine and always link back to how I styled it previously, because this is #reallife and like you said, who buys something and wears it only once?? I think it's extremely useful and a great sales tactic to show more than one way to style a piece. Hope you're having a lovely week, and although the medical leave isn't exactly a happy occasion, I hope you can enjoy it as much as possible!

    What a beautiful maxi dress and it's such a fun piece for the beach. I checked out your first post how you wore it before and it's actually a very good idea to repeat outfit so you can show different ways to style it. And I love your first post too, it doesn't look bad at all!
