The Most Darling Dress I Own + Weekend Recap
Over the weekend I experienced one of the coolest things. On Saturday, we went to the Shine Festival. Are you guys familiar with the paper lanterns from Thailand? In Thailand there’s a festival where everyone lights up their paper lantern, makes a wish, and watches their lantern float away. Have you seen the movie Tangled? There’s a scene where the paper lanterns were floating everywhere, if you haven’t here’s a clip. OMG, that’s exactly how I experienced it at the Shine Festival. It was so magical. I don’t know why but the moment all of the lanterns were floating, it felt so positive. Not going to lie, it made me somewhat emotional. Now, I really want to experience the original festival in Thailand. Seriously incredible!
The Most Darling Dress
When I wore this blush midi dress, I received so many compliments. It is such a darling dress. It is simple yet unique. I think what makes this dress so unique are the straps. You actually had to tie the front straps and the back straps together. That’s how it is able to make two bows! Because of the midi length and sweetheart neckline, it has a retro-vintage feel to it. It is for sure a very girly dress. The button fronts are fun additional details on the dress.
My favorite part of this dress was something I actually didn’t expect it would have. The dress has a built-in bra padding. The padding had a decent amount of support that you didn’t have to wear a bra. Talk about an effortless dress! This dress is one of those that you just throw on and you already look so well put together! I am wearing a size small and it fits true to size. The back of the dress has a little stretch for comfort.
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
