The Most Feminine Skirt I’ve Ever Owned + Weekend Recap

Thank you all again for your kind words about my treatments. I recovered much better than I expected, so that was a pleasant surprise! We had friends from Louisville visit us this weekend and it was so much fun. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen them. Friday evening we went out to Las Fuentes for dinner. If you’re from Chicago, I highly recommend it for its ambiance. It has one of the largest outdoor seating areas in the city (in my opinion). The decor is cute and the food is good. I’m a sucker for Mexican food!

Saturday, we worked out, went to Milk and Honey for brunch, did some shopping, then dinner at Ella Elli. After dinner we realized we were still hungry, so we stopped at Whole Foods, bought loaves of bread, different cheeses and spreads, and tons of cookies and brownies and made a picnic in our living room. If you are looking for something to do with a group friends, I highly recommend an indoor picnic. Something about it made it so much fun. It was definitely a night filled with laughter and good food!

The Most Feminine Skirt

As you can tell, I am a sucker for dresses and skirts. It is probably why I love summer fashion so much. I can wear all the dresses and skirts I want without thinking about it being weather appropriate. So to say I own a lot of feminine pieces is an understatement. I go nuts during the summertime. However, I finally met my match and found the most feminine skirt. This ruffled tiered skirt is the ultimate feminine piece to own if you are looking for a girly statement. I couldn’t resist pairing it with a lace crop top to complete the outfit. If you are looking for an outfit for a date night and/or girls night out, this skirt is it. All the ruffles, asymmetrical style, and high-low feature makes this skirt a showstopper. Definitely a statement item!
