I have an obsession with white button down shirts. In my opinion, you can never own too many white shirts. I think they’re versatile and classic. They can easily be worn to the office, a night out, or a casual day. I can wear the Chalk Shirt with Vince Trouser Pants, Steven Alicia Pumps, and accessorize it with a Kenneth Jay Lane layered necklace for when I have a big meeting with a client. During a casual day in the office, I’d wear the Theory blouse and pair it with True Religion dark wash skinnies and a Phillip Lim d’orsay flats. Not only are white button shirts versatile from professional to casual, but they can be worn in any season. For a summer look, I’d wear the Bella Dahl shirt with a pair of Rag & Bone boyfriend shorts and Birkenstock sandals for a stroll around the city. During the winter, any of these white shirts would look great with Inhabit sweater and over the knee Sam Edelman boots. Since I consider white button shirts a classic, they’re one of the items that I am okay splurging on. With classics, they will last and will never go out of style. It is essential to find the perfect one or five 😉
