I’m such a homebody, I really don’t have a lot of exciting things to say about my weekend. But honestly, I love to use my weekend to take advantage of relaxing from the week and just decompress. I look back to college years (can’t believe it’s like 10 years ago!), and don’t know how I did it. Nonstop having plans and no rest. Jeez time has changed.
I guess I did do something over the weekend. On Saturday, I had my second haircut post chemo. The back of my hair was starting to outgrow the top and front hair again. It was getting out of control and harder to style and I wanted to avoid that mullet style haha. So glad I went because Lavender Park did an amazing job. They actually straightened my hair and it looks so much longer! Also, why can’t I style and blow dry my hair the way hair salons do?! I swear I do the same exact thing but it never looks as good!
Oh and I purchased the m-61 Powerspot Clear for acne spot treatment. I heard so many great things about the m-61 collection so I was intrigued to try the spot treatment. That’s one skincare product I don’t own yet haha! Have you guys tried it? What do you think of the line or Powerspot Clear?
What You Will Rarely See Me Wear
When I was younger, I was willing to rock anything that matched my style at that time. Now that I have a general idea of what works or doesn’t work, I tend to only buy clothes that I know will work all the time. What you will rarely see me wear are mini skirts. As I get older, I find them less flattering on me. Midi length is usually the shortest length I will go. However, when I walked into Alice and Wonder and saw Ali the store owner wear this tiered mini skirt, for some reason I immediately loved it. It probably has to do with the way she wore it. It was just too stinkin’ cute. But in my mind I was thinking ‘It is a miniskirt. I don’t want to buy it’. Week after week, I kept thinking about that miniskirt and eventually I found myself back at Alice and Wonder purchasing it.
Top 5 Mini Skirts
Seriously, you will rarely find me wearing mini skirts, but this skirt was an exception and has me open to trying a few more. I’m looking at other miniskirts I may want to wear. So here are 5 mini skirts I’m loving online. What are your thoughts on mini skirts? How do you wear it?
