Ask me a few years ago on my thoughts on monochromatic looks, and I would shake my head with disgust. My mom always wore monochromatic outfits, and I would tell her to add some contrast. Now is a different story. In the past year-ish, I’ve been embracing monochromatic outfits (as you may have noticed in previous posts). The key to monochromatic is staying simple and sticking to the classics. Maybe play with different textures, but that’s how far it goes. Otherwise, it just doesn’t flow. One of my favorite monochromatic combos is white on white. Something about it feels & looks crisp & sophisticated. What is your favorite monochromatic combo?
