How to Get A Last Minute Holiday Outfit

Did the holiday season get all crazy and busy, and now you realize you need help with a last minute holiday outfit? Before we begin, let’s take a deep breath. Holidays can be stressful because there are a million things going on (at least it feels like a million things), and everything needs to be done like yesterday. And of course, I’m sure there are unexpected things that happen that are occupying your time as well. Early in the season, I shared how to survive the busy season. Hopefully my tips will help you out!
Luckily, we live in an era where getting things last minute is possible. And this last minute holiday outfit is an example of it. Pretty much, you can get every item within 2 or 3 days-ish. I’d like to thank Amazon Prime and Asos Premier Delivery for that.
Metallic Pleated Skirt
This gold metallic skirt was actually a last minute holiday outfit purchase last year. So glad I got it because I honestly think it is a holiday outfit staple piece. This is how I styled it last year. You can’t go wrong with a pleated skirt. It can easily be dressed up or dressed down and styled in multiple ways. I love the metallic color because it has that pazzazz that the holidays tend to bring. It also comes in multiple colors too. If you like something more maxi style, I found this option as well.
Velvet Top
This year I wanted to incorporate something velvety. The velvet fabric also has that holiday pazzazz to it. I’m a fan of tucking in my tops, and when I came across this velvet bodysuit, I knew it was a winner. If you are not into bodysuits, below are other amazing velvet options.
I mentioned that you can get Asos within two business days (unless you order on a Friday - you would probably get it on a Tuesday). All of that is possible if you sign up for the Premier Delivery. I shop at Asos all the time, so paying the $19.99 annual feel has been a money and time saver. Normally, shipping is about $4.99 for standard delivery - about 7-10 days. I guarantee that if you start shopping at Asos, you will most likely be shopping there multiple times a year! And you would actually be saving on shipping costs by getting the Premier Delivery.
Faux Fur Stole
A faux fur stole easily glams up an outfit. Plus, it’s so warm and cozy! I did purchase this at Sole Society (and I highly recommend it! I’m considering getting the oversize stole.) Their shipping is relatively quick, but I can’t guarantee it will arrive in a few days. So if you need something fast and quick, below are amazing & affordable options!
