3 Different Ways To Style A Lace Crop Top
I’m bringing this outfit back from the archives. Before you read on about the details of this look, I just want to share a few things. I was originally going to delete some of the original contexts. However, when I was re-reading them, it did share details about a point in time in my life and I don’t want to erase them. So to differentiate the ‘then’ and ‘now’, I’ll mention in parenthesis the original context, and my updated context.
Btw, I will wear this outfit. I truly think it is still very much so relevant! Lace, in my opinion, will be one of the fashion trend that will last for a while.
Weekend Recap – Started Swimming
(Original – 2017) I started swimming this weekend. I’m a terrible swimmer so I never had the urge to want to swim. All of my doctors encouraged me to continue exercising so that long term, I will benefit from it. But of course, I just had to get a stress fracture in my foot. Sounds like I am more prone to stress fractures because in the past I had them and because as part of my daily medications, I take Aromatase Inhibitor. Therefore, one of my doctors encouraged me to take on swimming to continue working on my bone health and the post-chemo side effects. So if any of you guys have suggestions on swimming and pool exercises, please send them my way!
(Update) Since today is Friday, I’ll give a quick recap of the week. I’m working really hard to get my content up to speed. There’s been some personal things going (aside from computer issues) that took time away from blogging. I’ll share those details when I’m reading. I’m just glad that I had a somewhat productive week and now I’m reading for the weekend!
About This Outfit
(2017) I wore this outfit almost a month ago on the first day of The Blog Societies Conference. Can you tell I was going for that street style vibe? Since I will be doing a recap of the conference on Friday, I thought I’d share what I wore those days. Wednesday’s post will be day two’s outfit.
You may have recognized this top and that is because I recently featured it in this post. This time around I wore it with a pleated skirt. Not a big difference from the last post, but I think that’s because I really enjoyed wearing this top with a skirt! However, this lace crop top can be paired with several different types of pieces.
If wearing a white lace is not your thing, it also comes in a black lace crop top. It is as equally chic and the black color gives more of a night out feel. Below are my 3 ways to wear this lace crop top with favorite Fall pieces.
3 Different Ways to Style a Lace Crop Top
1. Wear It With A Skirt
This one is obvious since I’ve worn this top with a ruffled skirt and a pleated skirt. However, this white lace crop top looks incredible with a leopard print midi skirt, mini skirt, maxi skirt, and basically any high-waisted skirt.
2. Wear It With Wide-Leg Pants
This also includes wide-leg cropped pants or culottes. The wide-leg pants and fitted crop top complement each other so well. It creates a balance from head to toe and in the end makes it a flattering look. I love it with black leather pants, high waisted jeans, wide-leg utility pants, and chino pants.
3. Wear It As A Layering Piece
You’re probably thinking, how can you layer with a lace crop top? Well, I was thinking along the lines of a dress and a jumpsuit. Since a dress and a jumpsuit are usually known to be worn one way, layering them with this lace crop top is a great way to switch it up to make your dresses and jumpsuits more versatile. I love it with this jacquard jumpsuit and denim overalls

Since I definitely don't want to be baring my midriff BUT I DO want to wear the crop style- I've found that I love how it looks paired with a high waisted skirt! Your look is so cute!
I'm not fan of showing my midriff either! Definitely a high waisted skirt will pair well with this top!
