Holiday Gift Guide For the Traveler
My most popular gift guide was my holiday gift guide for the traveler that I created last year. It is still currently going strong and I think it is because a lot of the items are still available. This is why I’m all about investing in high quality pieces – always available (not a trend), durable, and classic. When it comes to traveling, buying the right pieces makes all the difference since it makes traveling go much smoother. But I noticed not many people want to spend on traveling pieces for themselves. Hence, why I think they make such an awesome gift! A lot of the pieces I selected (this year and last year) will make your packing experience more organized and less stressful!
Traveling Made Easy
As you can tell, a lot of the pieces for this guide guide help with packing organization. I’m a big fan of packing cubes. When my brother-in-law introduced them to me, I was skeptical until I used them for our honeymoon. Oh my, now I can’t travel without them. They help me keep my clothes organized in the luggage (clothes not everywhere) and because it is organized it makes my luggage much roomier. So if you can only pick one thing from this gift guide for the traveler, I say go for the packing cubes.
What also makes traveling easier is getting the right luggage. Loveeeee the spinner, makes it easy when you are on the go in the airport. This luggage set is lightweight, has awesome compartments (organization!), and has a built-in TSA lock.
Two things that I believe are a must-have, especially if you’re in a plane, are a good scarf wrap and facial spray. Airplanes are so cold but I hate wearing too many layers. The bulkiness makes it so uncomfortable and I feel immobile in my seat. So my solution is a good scarf wrap! You can put it over your shoulder or use it as blanket (I usually use it as a blanket in a plane but in the airport wear it as a poncho or scarf). Another important thing when you’re in a plane (especially a long flight) is moisturizer. I love to use Mario Badescu’s facial spray. Every other hour, I just spray it on my face. It is an easy way to hydrate your skin. I love both the rosewater or the cucumber one.
As promised, every gift guide will have a giveaway. So while you are shopping for others, hopefully you can win a little something for yourself. This time I am partnering up with Cabana Life. If you are not too familiar with them, they are a clothing company that offers a variety of cute pieces with 50+ UPF. So it is all about protecting your skin. Last month, I talked about why it is so important to protect yourself all year round from the sun.
Anyways, if you plan on having a tropical vacation to ease away the winter blues, I highly recommend using Cabana Life! Cabana Life is giving away a $75 gift card to one lucky winner. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the Raffle copter Widget! This giveaway will end on November 22, 2017 12 a.m. CST.
