Hunt for a Not See Through White Skirt

It is so RARE to find a not see through white skirt. I love a good white skirt because it basically goes with anything and everything. I’m also a fan of wearing white after Labor Day. Fashion rules? Throw them out!

However, when I do come across a not see through white skirt, they are EXPENSIVE! So I usually just settle for an affordable white skirt. Remember this outfit? After that summer I donated that skirt. It’s great when you have a good nude underwear (which btw I highly recommend these! And they’re seamless too!).

When Who What Wear reached out to me to pick out my summer selection, I gravitated toward this skirt! You all know I am OBSESSED with the Who What Wear Collection. Affordable and great clothes! Plus, it is sold only at Target and you all know Target knows its stuff. Thank you Target for always taking away my money.

I’ll be honest, I have no I idea why it took me so long to share this outfit. I wore it the entire Summer! I love this skirt so much! It’s also a not very white for a white skirt, which I really like. It has a more cream color which to me is a more flattering shade of white.

Sizing Of The Not See Through Skirt

Usually with Who What Wear Collection’s clothes, I almost always have to size down. Initially, I sized down with this maxi skirt. Unfortunately, sizing down was tight. Therefore, I recommend getting your true size. I ended up with a size 4. The polka dot skirt I got is a size 2, so to me I thought that was odd that the sizing was different. For a maxi skirt, I’m really impressed it doesn’t drag or need any hemming. I’m 5’4″, and the dress falls right before it hits the ground.

Size Reference:

My chest is 32C and normally I wear a size small or size 2. For my bottoms, I normally wear a size 27 or size small or size 4. I have a straight body type with a bubble butt haha. I weigh 140 lbs and am 5’4″ tall.

The Sustainable Striped Bodysuit

I’ve also worn this striped bodysuit numerous times! I’m obsessed with it. I really love the tie details on the shoulder. It’s by Reformation and I basically love everything about Reformation. Not only are their clothes super cute and comfortable, but they’re also a sustainable fashion brand! They’re very transparent on how they produce their clothes and share a layout of their sustainability framework. When I purchase Reformation clothes, it’s either on their website or at Nordstrom.

For this bodysuit, I recommend going one size up. I’m wearing a medium. The butt coverage is full. So if you like bodysuits with a thong style, unfortunately this is not for you. I actually prefer the full butt coverage. If you are not into the striped print, they also come in a solid color- black and white.

I also want to point out that even with a RED striped bodysuit, you can’t see it through the white maxi skirt! Proof that this skirt is not see-through at all!
