Skirts For Fall

I never thought I would love wearing skirts for Fall. In the past, I would associate wearing skirts in the late Spring or Summer months. I think it is because a lot of skirts were in pastel colors or they were floral skirts. But something about this year makes me want to wear skirts in the Fall. I realized that there are a lot of great options out there, and I can probably wear them all year round.

Polka Dot Skirt

For instance, when I walked into Alice & Wonder and saw this polka dot skirt I immediately started styling it for Fall. Spring and Summer did not come to mind at all. Something about the navy blue of this polka dot skirt screamed Fall. When I think of blue, naturally I want to pair it with yellow. Such a great color combo!

By the way, I found this yellow sweater on Amazon (Amazon is my new favorite place to shop for clothes)! Fits true to size. I’m wearing a size small. Not scratchy at all. It feels really soft! To give it a more Fall vibe feel, I paired it with my ankle boots. However, I was considering wearing these studded mules for warmer Fall days. For really cold Fall days, I love to wear it with over the knee boots.

I don’t know if you can tell, but I based my judgment on whether a skirt is best for Fall if it looks great with Fall & Winter shoes i.e. boots, booties, pointed toe flats. Another favorite skirt for Fall was this rust satin skirt that I wore on the blog. I can’t wait to give that skirt another Fall look! Stay tuned for that!
