Do I Love The Overall Dress?

As I mentioned before, I talked about loving overalls and now I’m trying out the overall dress. The weather has been beautiful in Chicago and it was the perfect opportunity to try it out. I’ll be honest, I’m still a little iffy about the overall dress. It is comfortable, but I don’t know if I like the length of this one? For some reason, this overall dress seems more appropriate for the Fall weather versus Spring?

I Wear These Shoes All The Time

I also wasn’t sure what kind of shoes to wear. So of course, I wore my favorite loafers. Can you tell I love them? I pretty much have worn them in almost every post. They go with almost everything! Plus they are affordable. I definitely got my money’s worth with these shoes.

Size & Fabric

Ok back to this overall dress. Since it is Shein, and after reading the reviews, I sized up and went with a medium. I’m glad I did, because it has a little room which means I can easily layer and it doesn’t have to feel tight around the waist. So if I decide to wear this during the Fall, I can wear a turtleneck or sweater and probably wear it with booties!

The fabric is not as thick as corduroys even though it looks corduroy-like. It is on the thinner side. Which I guess is good if you want to wear it during Summer months.

Mixing Stripes

I also decided to have fun with this outfit and mix the stripes. I definitely wanted to wear something printed because the solid blush kinda took over the outfit so I figured wearing a striped top would break it up a bit. And I couldn’t resist adding this striped bag! You all seemed to love it when I wore it in this post and I had the same reaction when I first saw it. It is the cutest statement piece! Alright, I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!! I’ve got quite the laundry list of things to do. Taking deep breaths and doing things one at a time. Sometimes if I try to do everything at once, I get so overwhelmed and everything is half-done. But when I am in a relaxed state of mind, I get so much accomplished. How about you guys? How do you handle things when you’ve got a lot to do? I’m willing to try out new ways. I love hearing processes because sometimes it is something I never thought to do!

    I hate feeling overwhelmed too when I have to much to do, I find taking a walk, or reorganizing helps me to re focus and feel energized to get my tasks done 🙂

    I appreciate your honest thoughts! I’ve been looking forward to reading this post all day because I really want an overall dress, but I’m just not sure which one! I actually really love the length on this one, and because I’m relatively tall, I think it would flatter my build. I might have to check it out. Plus the pink is so pretty!     I must say that I love the color of it and how nicely it pairs with that striped bag. I’m a big overalls fan, as you know, but I can see what you mean about the length of this one. Maybe it could be a little shorter.

    In my opinion it would look better if these were overalls and not the dress. It just doesn’t look… right, although of course you look cute.
    The glasses are great and I really do like the bag. It looks like you had candy in it 😉
