The Best Jumpsuit For Traveling and Why You Need It
The Best Jumpsuit for Traveling
During our time in Spain & Portugal, there was one jumpsuit that was the best jumpsuit for traveling. It is an outfit that I repeatedly wore over and over again, despite the fact that I overpacked (Side note: Am I the only one that packs enough clothes during time away but ends up wearing the same stuff? I’m guilty of that. #sorrynotsorry). Sometimes I wonder why I bring the amount of clothes that I do.
Anyways, the reason why I repeatedly wore this jumpsuit is because it was so so so comfortable! Just one of the reasons why it is the best jumpsuit for traveling. I wore it on our first day in Madrid (Spain) and couldn’t resist wearing it again when we were in Lisbon (Portugal). I’m telling you guys, you all need this jumpsuit. I was fortunate to come across it at the store Curl Surf, which is only at Disney World’s Disney Springs or Disneyland’s Downtown Disney. Unfortunately, their site does not provide any product link. Butttt since I am an obsessive shopper (after all this blog is called RD’s Obsessions haha), I found jumpsuits that basically have the same style, fit, and fabric!
Alright, let me give you 5 reasons why I love it and why you will love it too. It is the perfect travel outfit.
Reasons Why This is the Best Jumpsuit for Traveling
It is comfortable.
I know I already said it, but omg how soft the fabric feels and how it just lays on your body. It feels like your favorite sweats or pajamas. Last week, I mentioned that comfort is the number one thing I look for when thinking abut what to pack. I want to be able to explore all day without worrying about my clothes!
Jumpsuits in general are so effortless. It is just one outfit you have to put on. Because of its wide-leg style and criss-cross back detail, you already look well put together! Don’t you just love it when you don’t have to try to look good yet you look good?
Easy to layer.
The fabric is lightweight so wearing something over it doesn’t give it a bulky feeling despite its very flowy look. I didn’t feel restricted when I wore my jean jacket over it. Or you can layer a long-sleeve or a short-sleeve tee underneath it. It still looks chic without compromising comfort or the style.
It is so versatile.
You can just wear it casually or it can easily have a dressed up look to it. It is all a matter of accessorizing. I mainly wore it casually, but if I want to go on a date night with it, easy. Just put on my favorite gold statement earrings and blocked-heel sandals.
Easy to Pack.
Aside from the fact that it is just one item, so duh it is easy to pack, it folds up nicely and doesn’t take up much space. It can easily mold into any shape and it is light. I’m all about maximizing my luggage space. Hence, why I have room to overpack haha. Btw, the items I use for traveling to save space and stay organized are in this and this guide.
The bra to wear
So if you are like me and see an open back, or basically an outfit where you know bra straps or bra bands will be exposed, I immediately think ‘what kind of bra can I wear with this?’ I purchased these gel petals. They have a little more coverage than the breast petals (only one-time use). They were easy to use and I had no issues with them. They stayed on for an entire day (and I was sweating too. Sorry if that was TMI). It is supposed to last up to 25 uses. So far I’ve used it about 7 times, and it sticks on perfectly just like the first time. So I am hoping it can be used 25 times.
What about you guys? Do you have a favorite outfit for traveling?
