The Cutest Cut Out Dress for Florida

Happy Friday Everyone! When I was planning our trip to Florida, I promised myself that I would not buy anything new for the trip. Well, I kind of abided by it haha. I was looking through Asos (what’s new, I can online shop there all day!), and stumbled upon this dress. I was immediately drawn by the tie front detail and cut out. I thought it was so cute and so perfect for Florida. Plus, it has a pretty shade of yellow.

So naturally, the last thing I looked at was the price (I can picture Tre rolling his eyes haha), and to my surprise it was only $22! What a steal right? So it was basically asking me to break my rule of not buying anything. Let me tell ya, it was perfect for Florida! So if you are on the hunt for a vacation dress, I highly recommend it. It also fits true to size. I’m wearing a size 4 and it had a little bit of room too.

It’s funny thinking about me wearing a cut out dress. Actually, it is funny to think that I’ve been into cut out anything at all. I honestly think that I’m really feeling more and more comfortable in my skin after chemo. Love seeing signs of progress ♥.

Quick Health Update

I want to thank you all so much for checking up on me. I’m feeling a little better but unfortunately, my cough is still going. Been having sleepless nights because my coughs would wake me up. I’ve tried every over the counter med and surprisingly they are not working. Even NyQuil is not able to knock me out and that stuff usually gets me. I did see my doctor on Monday, and she prescribed me something. However, it doesn’t seem to be working either. So if my cough doesn’t get better by next Monday, I’ll have to go in for an X-Ray. Crossing my fingers it can all be sorted out because I am so tired.

Surprise News & Announcement

I have an exciting piece of news to share. It is something I totally did not expect at all! I was just notified that I am one of the winners of the IHadCancer’s Blog Award. Say whhatttttt!!! I was in complete shock when I heard the news! The reason why it was such a shock is because I did not make any effort to ask anyone to vote for me. The truth is, I didn’t think anyone really cared to vote for me or I didn’t think I made a big enough difference in the cancer community to be considered.

So to be voted for and to win, I was in tears! I want to thank all those who voted for me! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I can’t thank you enough. Winning this means so much to me. I really just wanted to share my story and experience. Not only was it therapeutic for me but also my hope was that whoever is going through what I am going through doesn’t have to feel alone. I am so grateful you all take the time to read my blog. Love you all!

    That dress is amazing on you! I love the cutout and you look so cute in it. I know what you mean about being surprised- sometimes I’m like- Huh am I really able to wear this? Congrats on the award. I hope you’re feeling better soon. I feel you on the sleepless nights. Have you tried essential oils? Breathe in the diffuser helps me sometimes (and sometimes not- eh there is no magic pill apparently). <3 Jamie
