Everlane Linen Jumpsuit Review
Yay I finally have a fashion post up! It’s been so hard to even attempt to get a blog post up these days. When I finally think we have figured out a routine for Carter, he would just switch it up on us again and it feels like we are starting all over again. And then this little blog gets push wayyy back in the priority list. For instance, I wanted to actually do an outdoor photo of this outfit but had to resort to indoors for the sake of time.
This Everlane linen jumpsuit is the FIRST new outfit I wore postpartum. I don’t know why but it felt so good to put on something new and a bit more dressed up. It made such a difference to my mood and probably should try it more often.
Full disclosure, Everlane did gift me this linen picnic jumpsuit. But as you all know, I frequently shop there with my own money. I also thought I’d share a review of this jumpsuit since I featured it last month in my books I read in March post and received a few inquiries about sizing.
Everlane Linen Jumpsuit Review
Let’s talk about sizing first. I would say it fits true to size. Basically, whatever size you normally wear is probably the size I recommend you should get. I usually wear a size small or size 4 in dresses, tops, and jumpsuits. I am wearing a size 4 in this jumpsuit and fits me well.
For reference, my chest is 32C and my height is 5’4″. In pants and jeans, my go-to size is a size 27, size small, and size 4. However, I can potentially see how it might be more fitted for someone who is bustier. If that’s the case, I recommend sizing up.
In general, Everlane’s sizing has been true to size. The only exception is their 90’s Cheeky Jeans. There’s zero stretch to them. I struggled to fit those jeans over my butt haha. I’ve mentioned this before but I have a bubble butt and need jeans that have a bit more give or stretch.
The length is perfect for my 5’4″ height. It falls right above my ankle.
The fabric is made with 100% linen which means it is perfect to wear for warmer weather. Super lightweight without being see-through.
If you are new to Everlane, all of their fabrics are sustainable. So if sustainable clothing and sustainable fashion is high up your list, I highly recommend checking them out. Which means this jumpsuit is sustainable.
This linen picnic jumpsuit’s belt is removable. Love the option of styling it with or without a belt. It really does make a difference and gives you more versatility on styling it.
Another great feature is that the shoulder straps are adjustable. I was very pleased because adjustable straps to be rare in jumpsuit.
The straps also can hide your bra straps! How awesome is that. I’m wearing my True & Co bra and you can’t find the straps. You don’t need to worry about what kind of bra to wear.
It’s probably hard to tell in the photos but the back is elastic-waist. This means extra comfort!
Comes in Several Colors
Another think I loved about Everlane is their clothes are affordable. It’s rare for me to find budget-friendly sustainable clothing. Everlane is known to be transparent with their pricing. For a well-made and high-quality linen fabric, this jumpsuit is $88.
Overall Thoughts On Everlane’s Linen Jumpsuit
Do I recommend this jumpsuit? That is a big YES! I wear jumpsuits all the time and have become very selective in my jumpsuits.
I love that it is stylish, versatile, and comfortable yet classy. It can be worn dressed up or dressed down. My two other favorite features that I think makes this linen picnic jumpsuit unique is the square neckline and button front. In my opinion, the square neckline is the most flattering neckline.
