Brought These Gold Statement Earrings to Madrid

You guys, I can’t get enough of these gold statement earrings. I can’t stop wearing them! I love them so much that I brought them with me to Madrid. Which by the way is where these photos were taken. It was at Plaza del Rey. It was a small plaza close to our hotel with cute little cafes. To me, it was a hidden gem. It was not a touristy spot at all. It was cute and scenic. Very classic Madrid. Plus, it is by a pink building. You know I can’t resist a pink wall haha!

Don’t Wear Jewelry Often

Some of you may have already noticed, but I don’t wear statement jewelry too much. I occasionally tap into statement earrings on special occasions, but otherwise, I’m a minimalist with jewelry. So when I initially saw these gold statement earrings something inside of me was telling me to go for it even though I was hesitant. I kept thinking to myself, what would I wear it with?! Is this too much? Would I look extra wearing them?

When I received them in the mail, I was so intrigued by them. I thought they were very pretty, but of course, I was still nervous to wear them. One night, I decided to just wear it. I did not go anywhere special and I didn’t care too much about what I was pairing these gold statement earrings with because I was telling myself “I’m testing these out”.

Completed The Outfit

To my surprise, I think they helped complete my outfit. It actually gave it a whole new vibe. I don’t know how to explain it, but the earrings gave it a little sumthin’ sumthin’ if ya know what I’m saying. And I was getting compliments on them. Even Tre was complimenting the earrings. He kept saying it looked really good with my outfit. And all you ladies know that guys don’t give a crap about statement jewelry. They usually think it is just there haha. So when Tre noticed them, I realized “hmm, there is something special about them.”

After that one night, I’ve paired them with several outfits. My outfit on Monday has the earrings, I’ve also worn them with my off the shoulder maxi dress and marigold dress, just to name a few.

    LOVE that jumpsuit and those fabulous earrings! I am like you – I’m pretty minimalist when it comes to jewelry. I like the idea of wearing statement jewelry but in practice, they’re not the pieces I really reach for. I’m trying to experiment more with jewelry too though. I bought two statement tassel earrings lately and I’ve been loving them!
