9 Affordable Sweater Dresses

Whats not to love about sweater dresses. It’s a combination of wearing a cozy sweater and my all time favorite attire, dresses. But I’ll be honest, not all sweater dresses are made the same. Some may have an affordable price-tag, but the quality is ehhh. They’re itchy, they’re frumpy, and the is not ..well chic. And of course, the really cute sweater dresses are expensive. There are a few places that I rely on budget-friendly and high quality sweaters. I love to buy my sweater dress at Mango, H&M, and Nordstrom.

So here are my top 9 budget-friendly sweater dresses without losing the quality and style. All of these dresses are under $100 and most of them are under $50. Happy Shopping!

9 Affordable Sweater Dresses

1 Rib-Knit Dress

This dress is a chunky knit dress made with wool content. It has a slight boxy fit to it and comes in 4 different colors (Beige, Gray Melange, Powder Pink, and Light Pink Melange).

2 Long-Sleeve Fine Knitted Dress

It’s a straight style sweater dress. Lightweight but it can still keep you warm. It comes in 2 colors (Grey and Beige) with a cable knit finish.

3 Knit Dress

This sweater dress is almost maxi-length which I personally think is rare. Most sweater dresses are calf length. I love its chunky style and dropped shoulders.

4 Sleeveless Fine Knitted Dress

I recently purchased this dress. Although wearing sleeveless is not ideal especially as we head to Winter, it is easy to layer a turtleneck underneath. Which means this sleeveless dress is great for early Fall and late Winter.

5 Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater

The first thing that stood out to me is the color of the dress. It’s a gorgeous color! It’s a turtleneck dress with ribbed style.

6 MAMA Fine-Knit Dress

I absolutely love the collar and v-neck opening. The button detailing is so chic. This is maternity, but I love that it is a more stylish maternity sweater dress. Plus, it’s great option for mamas-to-be who still want to maintain style throughout their pregnancy.

7 Knit Turtleneck Dress

What a cozy looking sweater dress! It’s made with soft knit with wool content and ribbing at the neck, cuffs, and hem. It comes in 3 colors (Beige Melange, Black, and Light Gray Melange).

8 Tie-Waist Knit Dress

This is another favorite of mine. My size keeps getting out of stock so I’m viciously stalking it haha. I love that it comes with a tie-waist so it gives the sweater dress more of a shape. It comes in 2 colors (Light Beige Melange and Black).

9 WAYF x BFF Hollie Long Sleeve Sweater Dress

This is one is ribbed and more form-fitting not chunky. It comes in 2 colors (Heather Grey and Camel) and easy to layer with and has a cute cutout back.

    These are such cute and cosy dresses for autumn! It’s a shame it rarely gets cold enough here for pieces like this – I’ve had a few knit dresses but always end up donating them as they only get worn once or twice a year with our warmer temps here in Brisbane, haha!
