Lively Bras Review
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared reviews on bra brands. So today is all about Lively bras review. Have you heard of them? I only heard of them about a year ago when I came across them in my Instagram feed.
Before I give a review on Lively bras, I think it is helpful to share what is Lively. It’s a fairly new women’s brand and emerged about a few years ago. The founder, Michelle Cordeiro Grant, used to work for Victoria’s Secret and noticed there was a gap in inclusivity and comfort. She truly believes that women can feel sexy and confident without losing their comfort.
I had the opportunity to meet Michelle in-person during the Chicago store opening, and she is just as lovely as she sounds. You can tell she has a good work ethic and truly believes in women empowerment. Lively’s mission is to be a movement and not just products. Every woman should be able to do anything and everything she sets her mind to.
Lively Bras Review
If you are new here, I am extremely selective when it comes to bras. The main reason I am selective is that over 3 years ago I had a mastectomy (with reconstruction) and so many bras out there are so UNCOMFORTABLE. Like extremely uncomfortable, and I made it my mission to find the best ones. However, even prior to being diagnosed with cancer, my bras were uncomfortable and I never really took the time to find the right ones. I also realized that many women struggle with finding comfortable bras too. So hopefully my blog posts are able to help you! I try my best to find bras that are comfortable for the average woman and women who went through a mastectomy.
What are Lively Bras
Lively is similar to Thirdlove, True & Co, and Harper Wilde. This brand is disrupting the bra industry and focusing on what they believe women would need and want.
For sizing, I recommend getting whatever your true bra size is. I usually wear a 32C and their 32C fits me perfectly. If you are in between band sizes, go one size up. I own the All-Day Deep V No-Wire Bra, the Mesh Trim No-Wire Bra, and the Long-Lined Lace Bralette. Check out the size guide here. It breaks down the size by different bra styles from their everyday bra to bralettes.
Their return policy is pretty good. You don’t need to contact them if you want to return your Lively purchase. Just ship it back with the included return label within 30 days of receipt.
My Impressions On Lively Bras
What I Like About Lively Bras
Comfortable
Comfort is 100% the number one I look for in bras. Not many bras are comfortable for me anymore. And these just feel great on my body. Here’s my motto, if they are comfortable for someone who had a mastectomy then they are likely comfortable for any woman. The material is so soft on the skin!
Wireless Bras
Most of their bras are wireless – which is really important to me because my scars are right under the bra line. I am impressed how much support these wireless bras have. They can hold up like the wired ones! They even have a wireless push-up bra.
Affordable Price
These bras feel like luxury and I would have assumed they would be costly. Luckily, they are affordable! If anything, the more you buy the more you save. Every bra is the same cost. So no matter what style you want, you don’t need to worry about it costing more.
- 1 bra for $35
- 2 bras for $60
- 3 bras for $80
I have purchased nice bras for $80 and only got one bra. At Lively, You can get 3 bras for $80. That’s an incredible deal!
Size Inclusive
They have bras to fit most sizes. My cousin usually has to buy specialty bras and all those bras that claim to be comfortable never have her size. They offer cup sizes up to DDD. They also have maternity bras for all you mamas out there!
Best Nude Bras
They have every shade of nude color and every nude color is gorgeous. Nude bras are usually my go-to.
Aesthetically Pleasing
Most wireless bras do not look like regular bras and have that semi sports bra look, which is kind of annoying. Even my favorite True & Co bras have a different look. Certain tops require that the bras have that “regular bra shape”. Lively bras have that regular bra shape which makes it easier when selecting a top to wear.
Front-Adjusting Straps
This is a feature I didn’t realize would be so convenient until I had a Lively bra. You can adjust the straps from the front. Most bras adjust in the back and that makes it so difficult. Usually, I would have to take off the bra, adjust the straps, put it on, and if it’s not right I would have to start all over again. For the Lively bras, I can adjust the straps while I’m wearing. So easy!
What I Don’t Like About Lively Bras
Size Inclusivity Is Inconsistent
Not every bra is size inclusive (but there is a good amount that are). So hopefully one day they are able to provide every size for all their collections.
No Difference Between Bra Styles
I honestly don’t know the difference between the All-Day Deep V No-Wire Bra and The Mesh Trim No-Wire Bra. The style looks exactly the same thing to me even when I wear them. However, I do like the material of the Mesh Trim bra a bit better. It feels softer and closer to the feel of the True & Co bras.
Bralettes
There’s nothing special about their bralettes except that they’re really pretty. They fit and feel like any bralette bra. The only exception are the lace bralettes. The lace bralettes actually feel soft and not scratchy.
Exchange Policy
Although I think their return policy is good, their exchange policy is not. Currently, they can’t process exchanges. If you want to get a new size, you would have to return your item and place a new order. And if you ordered your items from the bundled price, their system cannot accommodate bundle pricing exchanges. You would have to contact their care team.
My Verdict
My Lively bras review is based on me wearing their bras for over 9 months and now is the time I felt comfortable to share my honest thoughts. Overall, I am so pleased with them! They’re one of my go-to day t-shirt bras. Like I said earlier, if a bra is comfortable for someone who underwent a mastectomy then I truly believe that I found a universally comfortable bra. Overall I am pleased with this bra brand. Hence, why I recommend it. However, it is not perfect. If I’m being honest, while the material is really soft on the skin, I still love the material of the True & Co bras.
If you live in Chicago, Lively has a brick and mortar store. It is located on 834 West Armitage Avenue. If you live in another city, check out their locations here. Full disclosure, after visiting the Chicago store and loving what I saw, I reached out to the Lively team to see if I could try out their bras. They were generous to send some to me. But 100% I would buy their bras with my own money. Especially since they’re affordable.
My next step is to try more of their stuff outside of their bras and underwear!
Not Just Bras
They carry swimwear, loungewear, underwear, activewear, and bodysuits. In addition to the bras, I have tried their underwear and they’re so comfortable. I love that they’re ultra feminine too even if some of them are bikini and brief style. As soon as I am able to try their other stuff, I’ll be sure to share my thoughts!
Have you tried Lively bras?

Thank you Margot! I think the lighting made it look pink but it is actually a light neutral color!
I actually have a few Lively bras in my lingerie drawer- I stumbled on an Insta ad (twins!) and was intrigued. I really like the wireless bras and the front-adjusting straps. SO smart!

I feel like I’m always in search of a more comfortable bra! It’s always hard when you enter DD territory, but I love that they have special bralets for fuller cups, so I’ll have to give them a try!
Chic on the Cheap
These do come in DD and my cousin is a DDD and loves their bras!
What a great review! I would agree, the true and co are softer.
Thanks Emely! More bras need that type of fabric!
