Greetings from Copenhagen! I have this thing for effortless feminine summer dresses this time of year. Just look at all my previous summer outfits. To me, Summer is all about relaxing and enjoying the moment. So less effort definitely comes to mind or ‘lazy summer’. But of course, I still want to look good. After all, wearing an outfit I feel good in helps me gain more confidence in myself.

When I say effortless, what I really mean is a dress that looks so well put together with almost no or little effort put into it. It’s one of those things that you just put on and you look amazing. The key to finding an effortless one is by the style of the dress. I always look for the type of summer dresses that are versatile. They can easily take you from casual to dressy occasions just by simply switching up your accessories. The more versatile the dress, the more chances that the dress is an effortless one.

An Example

Just take a look at the floral puff sleeve midi dress. The dress itself has a lot of style to it. It has the floral print, wrap style, puff sleeves, and beautiful pastel colors. For a casual day, just put on a strappy pair of sandals and you’re good to go. Oh want to dress it up a bit, switch out the sandals to a heeled espadrille and these statement earrings. If it happens to be a chilly day, just layer with a denim jean jacket. The options are endless, and no matter what, you will always look so put together!

In Copenhagen, they actually have an Other Stories retail store, and I was able to get the Striped Cotton Midi Dress. I can’t wait to wear it all summer long! I also got this linen scalloped tank top and tie shoulder tank top.
