I struggled for a long long longggg time on finding the best foundation. Either they are so cakey, have that icky feeling, or it doesn’t look natural. It doesn’t help that I have super sensitive skin and I break out easily and know nothing about makeup. So I pretty much gave up on wearing foundation until a few years ago I decided to do my own makeup for a friend’s wedding (I’m usually not a fan of people doing my makeup), and that is when I discovered my all time favorite foundation. I honestly think I went for them because they had my color. That is another thing annoying with foundations at that time, I barely could find one that matches my skin color. Either it is too yellow or pinkish or it is too dark. But after trying it out for a full day, I was convinced I was wearing the best foundation.

BareMinerals Loose Powder Matte Foundation SPF 15 – Light Coverage

The BareMinerals Loose Powder Matte foundation is the one that convinced me that I only need this foundation. Without a doubt this is the best foundation! It has light to medium coverage so it is great for everyday wear while still getting the job done. My face looks smooth (not caky), evens my skin tone,  and hides my imperfections. It has SPF so you can totally protect your skin from the sun while looking flawless.

The best part of this foundation is that it feels like you are not wearing any foundation. It looks and feels so natural that it looks like your skin is naturally this good. I’ve heard people complain that it feels like they don’t have anything on so they’re not sure it provides the necessary coverage, but you guys that is why I love it. It is supposed to feel like it is part of your skin. But I guess it is because we are so used to that heavy foundation feeling that some may think this foundation is not doing its job.

I wear the Medium Beige color. I prefer the matte only because my forehead gets oily later in the day. I’ve used the Original one as well and it is just as great and it is perfect for those who do not experience oily skin. I use the Full Flawless Face Brush to apply the foundation to my face. This is the foundation I use on all of my outfit photos.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t seek out this foundation. I was introduced to it when BareMinerals invited me to the BarePro Liquid Foundation launch party and it was gifted to me. I was hesitate to try a full coverage foundation since I already loved the loose powder foundation and was afraid that full coverage meant that cakey feeling or looking caked on. But since I was at the launch party, I figured why not try it out. The makeup artist there matched my skin to the Sabel 21. You guessed it right, I found another favorite foundation. I love how the color matched perfectly with my skin and it also felt super lightweight and it also didn’t feel like I had any foundation on. The results are even better. My skin looks FLAWLESS. You can’t see my large pores, acne scars, and uneven skin tone. Oh and it feels like I don’t have any foundation on (yes, I want to repeat this statement because I love that feeling haha!), that is a winner for me.

I apply the BarePro foundation with the Luxe Performance Brush and it helps apply the foundation on smoothly. And BareMinerals has stuck to their word and it stays on for 24 hours! Without a doubt, this is the best foundation if you are looking for more full coverage.

They claim that this is also great for everyday use as well, but I think I will leave the full coverage for special occasions.
