Without a doubt jean jackets are a must-have in every closet. Well, more like every woman’s closet. They are the perfect jacket to wear during transitional weather, perfect to layer with, classic, and go with anything! They pretty much look good on anyone and everyone. Therefore, finding the best jean jackets are a must. And I’ve owned quite a few in my lifetime. I’ve been wearing them since I could walk. So I pretty much have found my favorites and what I consider the best jean jackets ever!

1 Levi’s Original Trucker Jacket

This Levi’s jacket is the classic jean jacket. If you were thinking about getting a classic one, this is the one! The fit, the style, the length, the color, everything about it is classic. This is what I visualize when people say jean jacket. They fit true to size. If you want to wear bulkier pieces underneath the jacket, then I recommend going one size up. Otherwise, the fit is perfect if you get your true size. I was fortunate to get this exact jean jacket when 100% of the purchase cost went towards cancer genetic research. How amazing is that?!

2 Madewell Oversized Jean Jacket

I always have a soft spot for Madewell, and when I tried on their oversized jean jacket I was sold. It’s boxier than your average jean jacket, but it is still flattering. I promise you, you won’t drown in it. I love Madewell’s oversized jacket because I can wear my true size and I can easily wear something bulky underneath like a sweater. The length is also a little bit longer than a classic jean jacket. Which in my opinion is a plus!

3 Tradland Boyfriend Jean Jacket

Tradland’s boyfriend fit jacket has almost the exact fit as Madewell’s oversized jacket. The difference is the color. It has a lighter wash, and that to me it gives an even more Spring or Summer vibe to it. I also think it is perfect if you are into the denim on denim look (canadian tuxedo). The contrast of the different denim washes is what makes the denim on denim outfit work. I also recommend getting your true size. This jacket has a little bit more stretch to it, and the denim feels really soft!

4 Everlane Jean Jacket

I also have a soft spot for Everlane. They rarely disappoint me! The Everlane jacket is basically if the Levi’s Original Trucker and the Madewell Oversized (or Tradland BoyFriend Fit) Jean Jacket had a baby, it would be Everlane’s jacket. It has the length of the Levi’s jacket, but has the slightly oversized fit. So if you were loving Madewell’s or Tradland’s jacket, but don’t want it to be just as long, then you’ll love this one. I also recommend getting your true size. Their jackets come in several different colors including white! So many options!

All 4 of these jean jackets are different. In my opinion, if you can, I think it is worth getting each one. They truly are the best jean jackets. Depending on your mood or outfit, you will always have a jean jacket to pair with it.
