Sorry for the lack of posts this past week. It has been hectic on my end and then my blog had some maintenance that took longer than expected. All I have to say though is THANK YOU Alpine Lane Creative for all your help! Amanda is amazing and I highly recommend her.

The Cutest Orchard

I found the Chicago pumpkin patch to go to. Last weekend we went pumpkin patching and it is one of my favorite things to do in the Fall. I love going out to the pumpkin farm and picking out my pumpkin. Remember when I went apple picking and I raved about the orchard we went to? Well, we went to the same place. This orchard is huge and it includes a pumpkin farm.  The pumpkin farm is in a cute little section right in the middle of the apple orchard, sunflower field, and corn mazes.

Actually, if you are interested in doing any Fall festivities, County Line Orchard is the place to go. They also have a a cute petting zoo farm and some rides for little kids. Seriously, this place is adorable. Oh and their baked goods are DELICIOUS! You bet we had some apple cider donuts and pumpkin donuts. I also love their veggie bread. OMG, my mouth is watering just thinking about the veggie bread.

Another reason why I love this place is that it is just outside of Chicago. Living in Chicago, it is difficult to find a pumpkin patch closeby. Majority of them are in the suburbs and sometimes getting to the suburbs is a pain! County Line Orchard is in Northwest Indiana and it took us just shy of an hour to get there. So easy!(Although we did leave at 8 a.m.) Even Time Out Chicago listed County Line Orchard as the best pumpkin patch to go to near Chicago!

I do recommend getting there as soon as it opens. The orchard gets pretty crowded quickly. When we got there, there were several families already there!

They Have Specialty Pumpkins Too!

We selected small and mini pumpkins, and you bet I got some pink pumpkins! Since the pink pumpkins were considered specialty pumpkins, they cost more than the other pumpkins. It was worth it to me. I’m a sucker for anything pink haha. If pink is not your color, they have other specialty pumpkins too.

So if you are looking for a Chicago pumpkin patch or a place to do Fall activities, I highly recommend going to County Line Orchard. I’ve been to several orchards growing up, and so far, this one really impressed me!

    Gah, I’ve been meaning to go to either a pumpkin patch or an apple orchard this fall and you just reminded me I haven’t done so!
    I love this cute and cozy outfit, I legit stared at your vest for 5 minutes before I pulled the trigger and headed to the UNIQLO website! haha
