Is pink blush the new neutral? I’ve been asking myself that question lately. Without a doubt pink blush is my favorite color (it was my wedding color after all) and I naturally gravitate towards it. More recently, I noticed that whenever I’m wanting or craving to wear a neutral color, pink blush happens to be one of the colors. It’s as if it is one of the beige, camel, grey, ivory, etc colors.

I’ve been considering splurging on a cashmere sweater (haven’t decided which one… will you share your favorite cashmere sweater?), and one of the colors is pink blush. When I splurge, it is always a classic, neutral color. So I guess my mind thinks pink blush is the new neutral….

I’m probably rambling, but it’s something I’ve been pondering. I even did a quick google search “is pink blush the new neutral” and several articles popped up how it is the ‘new grey’, ‘it is neutral’, etc.  I really love the article by Apartment Therapy on incorporating pink blush into your home decor. None of them looked cheeky at all. So classic and chic.

Now This Midi Dress

I wanted a midi dress that I could wear in Summer and Fall. I definitely wanted to avoid very summery colors like mint, aqua blue, lemonade yellow, etc. so I settled on a pink blush midi dress. Do you think it can work for Fall? I was considering switching to Adella bralette in the Mocha color. I’ll also switch out my bag with this English Saddle bag or a snakeskin crossbody bag and a pair of chestnut loafers.

In terms of sizing, I’m wearing a medium and I’m glad I sized up. I think if I went with my usual size (small), the waist would feel slightly snug. It would not pass the pizza test haha. Btw, this dress has pockets!! I always feel like I have to announce when a dress has pockets haha. It’s too good not to say anything. Do you guys do that when your dress has pockets?

    I feel like this color works with almost any other color, acting like a neutral. It’s so pretty and much more fun than beige, black or brown! Your dress is really pretty and it looks fabulous fabulous on you!
