The Long Sleeve Lace Top You Will Want to Wear In The Fall
I’ve been eyeing this long sleeve lace top for awhile now. By awhile I mean since last Fall/Winter. I never thought it would be possible to wear lace in the Fall or Winter but this top made me a believer! I’ve always been a fan of the brand WAYF, so I was not surprised that they came up with a long sleeve lace top.
Whenever I think about lace, bridal immediately comes to mind. Probably because right after I got engaged, I was wearing white lace all the time. But this top does not remind me of bridal at all. Although I will say if you are engaged, it totally can work for bridal showers, etc. To me, it is a very fashion-forward top. The puff sleeve and the mock neckline is what makes me think this top is so different from other lace tops.
Sizing of the Long Sleeve Lace Top
So this top fits true to size unless you are very busty then I recommend going one size up. For reference, I’m wearing a small and my chest size is 32C.
The top is not see through at all because it has a nude cami underneath. It is sewn into the lace so that it never comes apart. So I love that because I don’t have to worry about what to wear underneath.
You can actually get this top from several places. You can get it at Shopbop, Bloomingdales, Amazon, and Dillards. Not sure if you all know this, but Prime Shipping is also available at Shopbop since they are affiliated with Amazon (and Shopbop has a rewards program). So as long as you have a Prime membership, you can also get your order in a couple days at Shopbop.
I have outfit ADD because I have thought of several difference ways to wear it! Therefore, for this blog post, I was struggling which one I should go with and ultimately I decided to pair it with my Everlane wide-leg crop pants. I loveeee these wide-leg pants. Everlane for sure nailed it.
These pants fit true to size. I normally wear a size 4 and got them in size 4. They are supposed to be cropped. My height is 5’4″ and I went with their regular length. They’re only $68 and made with sustainable fabric.
I also decided to wear it with my newest pair of pointed-toe flats. I got them during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The color I got is Navy. It is a very deep Navy color and almost looks black. But if you put the black pair side by side with the navy one, it is obvious mine is navy.
The leather on these shoes is so soft and would not cut into your skin. I hate when shoes have a very stiff leather fabric. They would cut the top of my foot and the back. UGH. So this one I promise won’t do that to you. It’s also very comfortable and fits true to size. If you know me, I have thrown away any pair of shoes that are not comfortable and started investing more in high quality, comfortable shoes. Never again do I want to buy shoes just because they are cheap.
