Finding Affordable Teddy Coats

Teddy coats are all the rage lately, and I can totally see why. They’re cozy, warm, and with the right pair, they’re so chic! I’ve been wanting a teddy coat for awhile now, but the ones I kept seeing in the past  couple years were expensive, or at least I couldn’t justify the cost. If I did find a ‘cheap’ teddy coat, the quality was ehh. I’ll be the first one to admit that I am not impressed with Shein’s teddy coat selections. And you all know, I sometimes wear their stuff (p.s. I shared my tips on how to shop at Shein.) Luckily, this year, I came across several affordable teddy coats. The quality is good, looks good on, and of course, still looks chic!

My Affordable Teddy Coat

So I am excited to share my first teddy coat, and I am so in love with it! It has the perfect brown color and it’s so cozy! Oh and of course, it is affordable! This coat was around $100. Which I think is a steal, but unfortunately since it was priced so well it sold out. However, keep checking it because I’ve noticed that Abercrombie will restock. So let’s cross our fingers it comes back because it also comes in a beautiful rose color. However, this other one looks and is priced very similar to my coat.

This coat has an oversized style to it. Most teddy coats are too, and I recommend sizing down. I normally wear a size small in coats, but I had to wear an XS. I still have room enough to wear a chunky knit sweater underneath without looking like a marshmallow. The length of the coat hits upper mid-thigh. After experiencing this length of a teddy coat, I’m now considering getting a more full-length teddy coat. What do you think?

1 Faux Shearling Jacket

It’s a double breasted jacket that’s cut in longer length. It comes in 2 different colors.

2 Reversible Faux Shearling-Lined Coat

I love that this teddy coat is reversible! One side has the faux shearling and the other side is suede.

3 Check Teddy Faux Fur Coat

The windowpane / checked print is so cute! It’s such a unique take on teddy coats.

4 Teddy Faux Fur Longline Coat

This teddy coat has a longer length which I think is very ideal on very cold Winter days.

5 3/4 Faux Shearling Coat

I would say this coat is a great option for early Winter and Fall or if you live in a climate where you don’t have harsh Winters.

6 Lynn Teddy Coat

This is a super furry textured coat that will keep you cozy in the Fall and Winters.

7 Teddy Bear Fleece Coat

I own this coat and did a thorough review of it under my Amazon coats review. It’s a great coat and impressed with the quality.

8 Hooded Teddy Jacket

Love that this teddy coat has a hood! This one has a more casual style to it.

9 Faux Fur Teddy Coat

This one claims to be an ultra cozy coat. It also comes in multiple colors and I’m slightly into the grey one!

10 Fluffy Long Coat

This coat has a luxurious look to it. This would be the faux fur coat I would love to wear with a cocktail dress. It also comes in multiple colors. If you are bold, the olive-greenish color is gorgeous.

11 Mid-Length Sherpa Coat

If you are looking for a classic teddy coat look, this is the one. It also happens to be the one I’m wearing in these photos.

12 Teddy Bear Faux Shearling Coat

I’m also a big fan of the longer length of this coat! It has a similar look to the Max Mara coat.

Winter Whites

Are any of you into wearing an all white outfit? I swear I wear white denim more often in colder months that I do during the summer. Which is ironic since white is usually associated with summer. So as always, I couldn’t resist wearing my first monochromatic winter white outfit of the year! The jeans and sweater are both from Everlane. I’ve worn the cheeky sky blue jeans all the time i.e. worn them two days in a row on Saturday and Sunday. Since I love the cheeky denim so much, I figured why not get them in white! I love it! They fit true to size and I got mine in ankle-length.

Have any of you tried Everlane’s sweater? If not, you should! You will become obsessed… at least I am. I honestly think the fit of their sweaters is AMAZING!! It just lays on so nicely. I’m wearing the soft cotton square crew, and it seriously can go with anything. This also fits true to size. I’m wearing a size small.

Next set of sweaters to try is their cashmere collection!

    Killing it in winter white Rach!! An all white look in the winter is seriously my favorite. And this teddy coat, swoon! My friend at work has the pink version and it is so good. I hope they restock. I was on the fence about whether or not I could pull this off, but it looks incredible on you and now I need it in my life!!

    I think it’s too warm here (even in winter) for teddy coats so it’s just a trend I admire on others sadly, I can’t participate!
