“Sorry For The Things I Said When It Was Winter”

Yes, I know I’ve been complaining about Winter nonstop since mid-January. For some reason, out of all the winters I’ve lived (and I admit I’ve complained about them too) this Winter really hit me hard. This reminds me of that saying or phrase “Sorry for the things I said when it was Winter.”

To be honest, it ‘s not even that different compared to previous Winters. I don’t know if it has to do with age, like the older I get the less tolerance I have for the cold weather? But it really has affected me. Am I the only one that feels this? Do you know if there is a correlation between age and winter tolerance? Or am I truly just a summertime girl?

Craving Tropical Weather

Anyways, I can’t control the weather even though I am CRAVING tropical weather. Since I am stuck indoors, this is my alternative – wearing palm print pajamas. If I have be indoors why not wear pjs that make me happy! Palm prints scream tropical, so these pajamas are my way of combining indoor comfort and my craving for warm weather. This look is bringing tropical vibes in the Winter.

Remember when I talked about what makes me happy? Well all day Sunday, that’s just what I did. I got up really early, enjoyed the morning to myself, showered, and put on these pajamas. I seriously love the feeling of being clean and putting on a fresh pair of pajamas.

I love these palm print pajamas for a few reasons (aside from the palm prints):

  1. The main color is pink. Duh, my favorite color.
  2. All one set. The top, bottom, and sleeping mask all come together. No separate prices for each piece. I feel like lately, when I find a set, each piece is priced separately. SO ANNOYING. Plus, it comes with a cute mini bag to fold your pjs and sleeping mask in.
  3. Lightweight. Because I get hot flashes as a cancer side effect, I need something breathable. These pjs are made of lightweight fabric. Which makes them tolerable to sleep in. If I’m extra cold, I can just layer with a plush robe or jersey knit robe.
  4. Relatively affordable. For a high quality pajama set, it is relatively affordable compared to other high quality pajamas.

If you are loving palm print pajamas as I do, here are other great options as well. They are all very similar to mine, but some prints are slightly different or they’re shorts instead of pants.


I would have never guessed that I would write a post about pajamas but you know pajamas are clothing pieces that you know if you find a good one, they’re so worth talking about! They’re so underrated in the fashion world.

    Okay, talk about CUTE pajamas! I love these! I get really uncomfortable at night alternating between hot and cold but these are lightweight and long sleeve which is the perfect combination!

    I might be happier if winter were just a vacation – you know, the trip to the snowy cabin for Christmas, maybe a ski trip in January, just small calculated doses where you could enjoy the cold, but then head right home to your warm weather home?
    Just a theory… because I’ve been back in winter for less than a week and I’m like… yes, over it.
