Soooo I’ve been meaning to share this jumpsuit right at the beginning of the Summer. These photos were taken the first day of June and now it’s mid-August. I swear I feel like I’m all over the place and now I’m trying to play catch up. I’ve learned to accept that I will never be as organized as I was before Carter was born.
But anyways, let’s talk about this Amazon linen jumpsuit because it’s so worthy of a post. I’ll talk about why I recommend it, sizing information, and details about the jumpsuit.
I bought this linen jumpsuit while I was in the hospital when Carter was born. I honestly don’t know what possessed me to purchase clothes at the moment because hindsight it’s not the smartest thing to do just because postpartum body is different. Thankfully in this situation it worked out.
Amazon Linen Jumpsuit Review
This linen jumpsuit is by Goodthreads, and it is one of Amazon’s private fashion labels. Shopping on Amazon, especially when it comes to fashion, is overwhelming. It’s hard to determine the quality and if the style actually resembles the photos. But you can almost guarantee if you purchase anything clothing from Amazon’s labels that you will receive what is actually pictured. And generally, the quality is good.
Let’s jump into sizing. I’ll talk about my sizing so you have a good idea what I’m referring to when I talk about the Amazon linen jumpsuit’s size. If you’re an avid reader, I’d say you can skip this part because I almost always mention my size and you probably already know what my usual size is. But if you are new here, hopefully this is helpful. I always get frustrated when other fashion influencers/blogger never talk about their size and therefore, I don’t understand what ‘true to size’ means when they mention to it.
I am 5’4″ tall, weigh about 140 lbs, chest size is 32C. Overall, I have a slim & athletic body type but with a bubble butt. For dresses, tops, and jumpsuits I usually wear size small and/or size 4. When it comes to bottoms such as jeans, pants, and skirts, I usually wear size 27, size small, and/or size 4.
Jumpsuit Size & Fit
This jumpsuit runs true to size which means I’m wearing size 4. I was surprised and pleased that I was able to fit into this jumpsuit straight out of postpartum. However, I know that everyone’s postpartum body is very different. So just keep that in mind. Overall, I’d say this runs true to size-ish only because I also think I could fit into a size 2. But if you are in-between sizes, definitely just go with your usual size.
The length is ankle-length. While I think the length is fine, I kind of wish it’s a tad bit shorter so that it is a true ankle-length on me. But if you’re over 5’4″, it probably will be a true ankle-length on you.
It has a drawstring waistband and it hits exactly at the waist around the belly button. I love the drawstring because I can adjust how I want the waistband to fit.
For a jumpsuit that’s only $40, the quality is really good. I’m actually quite impressed. However, it is not 100% linen. It’s a linen blend with 55% linen and 45% cotton. I wore this jumpsuit the entire summer and it feels like it is 100% linen. Very breathable and lightweight.
Variety of Colors
My jumpsuit is in the blue mini-stripe color & print. Basically it’s the seersucker print. However, it come in multiple colors such as black, evergreen, navy floral, black floral dot, and rainbow stripe. I really want to get the evergreen one next because it has that emerald green color which I think is gorgeous.
One of the main reasons why I love this Amazon linen jumpsuit is because it’s such an effortless outfit. It’s well made and chic. All you have to do is throw it on and good to go. You can easily style and accessorize it because it seriously goes with anything especially shoes! You can wear any pair of shoes which makes things so much easier.
Alright that’s all I have to say about this jumpsuit. What do you think about it? Would you wear it?
