Spring Outfit On Repeat
Spring Outfit On Repeat
So there is one Spring outfit that I have been wearing on repeat nonstop. You guessed it, it is this outfit. I’ve been wearing the same outfit multiple times, and I have showcased it several times on Instagram. I wore it during my time in NYC with the Honda team, and it was part of my 6 different ways to style white pants.
But trust me, I’ve worn it more than that. There were slight variations to the look. Like one time I didn’t wear the pearl barrettes or I switched out my round bag with a brown crossbody bag. Maybe decided to wear my rattan mules instead of the kitty heels. But one thing that stayed true is that I wore this yellow floral top with these cropped white wide-leg pants. I can’t get enough of it!
Why This Spring Outfit On Repeat
I love this outfit because it looks so chic and well-put together without trying. It was effortless to put together. A lot has to do with the details of the outfit.
The Floral Top
For instance, this top has a gorgeous pastel yellow color, and the floral print makes it look very Springy (ground breaking, I know). The style of the top is also unique. It has a smocked fit (that stretchy fabric), subtle puffed sleeves, and peplum waist that gives a fashion forward feel to it. It also emulates styles from high brands like Faithfull brand, Auguste the label, and Reformation. Best part, it is a fraction of the cost of those brands!
As for sizing, I would say it is true to size. The smock fit gives it stretch. But if you do have a long torso or larger chest, maybe size up. This top is slightly cropped.
The Wide-Leg Pants
I’ve talked about Express wide-leg pants before and it is no surprise that I love these wide-leg pants so much. After all, I’ve been creating several different outfits with them! The cropped length and frayed hem already gives it an edgy style. But what really makes these pants chic is the button fly! I honestly think any jeans with a button fly already have an elevated look! For sizing, I would say true to size. But I will admit, I could have sized down because of the stretch. But my true size still kept its structure throughout the day.
Then you top it off with these suede mustard kitty heels and BAM! I’ve been treating these mustard heels as if they are a neutral color. I honestly think they can go with any color and outfit! However, because it is a mustard yellow color it gives a pop of color or edginess to an outfit.
Would you wear this Spring outfit on repeat? Or do you already have a go-to?
