I purchased this suede skirt awhile ago, like a little after I finished chemo. It was one of the first skirts I purchased that I really really loved after my surgery. It’s crazy how much the body changes from cancer treatments and surgeries.

Want to know what the best part was aside from loving it? The best part was that Art Effect (Art Effect is a local boutique in Chicago in the Lincoln Park neighborhood) was having a big sale because they wanted to clean out their existing inventory. So basically I got this skirt at an amazingly affordable price. I only paid $20!! And I’m pretty sure the original price was in the mid $200s and it was the last one left. Talk about some luck. Part of me was thinking it was a good luck sign for my health. I’m always that person that is looking for signs. Not sure if they’re true, but they do make me feel better, ya know?

Anyways, I am obsessed with this skirt. No matter what I pair it with, it always looks good. I’ve shared several of those outfits on Instagram or on the LiketoKnow.it app. I loved it with my yellow floral top. When the weather gets colder, I want to wear it with a sweater and sock booties. I also think that suede skirts are classic and timeless. I don’t think they will ever run out of style.

For today’s post, I went with my blue floral top. Something about the dark blue color and neutral floral print gives it a more Fall floral vibe. It also happened to be one of the tops I got from Amazon. In that post, I give all the details you need to know about this top such as sizing information, fit, and quality. Spoiler alert, I like the quality haha. It also looks really good with a pleated skirt too.

Also, my top is sheer. But my trick to wearing it is wearing my favorite bra in the nude color. For some reason, whenever I wear this bra with this top, it’s almost invisible! Which I love because then I don’t have to worry about wearing a cami and the hassle of the cami feeling so bunchy. I have a dedicated post about this bra. It is seriously that good!

I really love the midi skirt from Mango. That green color is GORGEOUS! Plus, it would look awesome during the holidays too.
