Cute Maternity Dresses For Easter
I can’t believe Easter is just around the corner! It also makes me very excited to know we have a little one to celebrate Easter with!
So for anyone that is expecting, it is why I thought it would be a great idea to wear cute maternity outfits during this time. Easter is a great time to dress your baby bump with bright colors, floral patterns, pastels, and dresses! Time to get those legs out of hibernation. I’ll be honest though, I have been wearing dresses even during Winter. They’re the only thing comfortable to wear (aside from wearing maternity overalls of course). Even if I’m home, it just feels good to put on a good outfit. Plus, we all have to be home thanks to COVID and I’m thankful we have heat that it makes it possible to wear dresses. In the Winter, I primarily wore sweater dresses.
Back to talking about Easter dresses and Spring dresses. Let that bump come out of hibernation and show off your pregnancy glow! I swear by Maelove’s Glow Maker serum throughout my pregnancy (did a review here). Best thing ever!
If you don’t celebrate Easter and you’re pregnant, that’s ok. All these maternity dresses are also great for other celebrations during the warmer seasons. They’d make a great Spring outfit, baby showers, etc.
Cute Maternity Dresses for Easter
Keep in mind that I didn’t go all out for an Easter outfit for these dresses since I was home. For instance, I didn’t showcase shoes, bags, etc. But that’s because I’ve been home quarantined and I am not a fan of wearing shoes inside the house haha. Most of these maternity dresses can pretty much go with any accessories. I recommend for shoes to wear flats just because as the bump grows pregnant women get more unbalanced. I love to wear pointed-toe flats and pointed toe dorsay flats (especially if they’re slingback!). They’re a great combination of comfortable, safe, and super chic. Below are my recommendations.
Best Shoes To Wear
Smock Midi Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: similar here, here, here, here, here
The reason why I’m only able to link similar dresses is because I purchased this dress a couple years ago when we went to Copenhagen. However, several retailers have made similar dresses. Smocked dresses are great because they’re actually non-maternity but are very bump-friendly. The smock style can accommodate the growing bump which means this is great for any trimester. You’ll see when you scroll down I will share another great smocked dress.
Maternity Maxi Shirtdress With Pockets
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Button Front Maxi Shirtdress
This dress has pockets! Who’s excited with me? I think the pockets will be useful to carry things like pacifiers haha. This dress is from a special collection called Hutch x Maxey Greene that you can only get exclusively at Nuuly. The Hutch x Maxey Green collection has the brand Hutch create chic and stylish clothes for maternity wear (size inclusive too) and for postpartum and beyond. I’ve purchased a few pieces. So this is another great dress that you can wear at any trimester.
Floral Print Tie Sleeve Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Tie Sleeve Dress
I rarely purchase anything in blue but this dress was too pretty. You have to see it in person. This was the dress from the Nines by Hatch collection at Target (created by the maternity brand HATCH). I shared all my picks from that collection here. This is another awesome maternity brand that you can wear postpartum and beyond.
Even though this dress doesn’t have a light or pastel color, the vibrance of the cobalt blue gives it a Spring vibe. It is also a great option if you want a maternity dress with a relaxed vibe to it.
Flowy Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: The Anaebelle Dress
My all time favorite maternity brand is the HATCH collection which is where this dress is from. This dress was also my first ever maternity dress I bought and I purchased it around 16 weeks. Everything about this dress is beautiful – the way it flows, the movement, and style. If you want, you can wear a belt around it to accentuate the waist. Again, this is another dress that is great to wear during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Maternity Skirt
SHOP THE OUTFIT: White Tee (non-maternity, but very bump friendly) | Maternity Skirt
Instead of a dress, why not switch it up and wear a maternity skirt. This maternity skirt probably works only second trimester and third trimester. More specifically, it fitsbetter when I was 20 weeks in. You have the option to wear it over the bump or under the bump. Since I’m only 5’4″, I personally think I look better with it over the bump. What I love about this skirt is that it is roomie enough to fit any type of top – from fitted to chunky sweater to flowy top.
The white tee I’m wearing is actually from a size inclusive brand Universal Standard. The fabric is SO SOFT, which is great for the sensitive skin I experienced during pregnancy. The length of the tee is what makes it bump-friendly even though it is not maternity. I talk more about Universal Standard in this post.
Maternity Maxi Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Faux Wrap Maternity Maxi Dress
Here is another dress from the Hutch x Maxey Greene collection. This dress is just so fun to wear! Again, it can be worn during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. If I was having a baby shower, I totally would make this my baby shower dress. Also, this dress has a faux wrap around style which is super cute.
Maternity Jumpsuit
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Maternity Jumpsuit
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t include a jumpsuit. I am impressed how this jumpsuit is perfect for pregnancy. And you guessed it, it is from the Hutch x Maxey Greene collection and you can wear it throughout pregnancy and beyond. This is the last one from the collection that I purchased. This jumpsuit has pockets and is incredibly soft.
Smocked Maxi Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Smocked Dress
Remember when I mentioned earlier that smocked dresses are great for maternity? Here is another great non-maternity dress that is bump-friendly. I am able to wear it with my pre-pregnancy size and I was 36 weeks in this dress. If there is a neckline that is flattering it is the square neckline. I really want to get more dresses with this type of neckline. Also, this dress has pockets.
Maternity Maxi Dress
SHOP THE OUTFIT: Poplin Maternity Dress
Here is another dress from The Nines by Hatch collection. This is a dress you just have to see in real life because it is beautiful. I love the balloon sleeves. Since it is perfect for postpartum and beyond, I plan on wearing a belt around the waist to create a different look.
Did you know this dress is very versatile? I styled it with jeans (check it out here) and layered it with another dress (check it out here). I don’t think it was marketed to be this versatile but because the buttons go all the way down, I had fun with the dress!
So there ya go. These are all my cute maternity dresses for Easter or Spring.
