Lately, I’ve been really into the color sage green. No matter where I go or look, my eyes gravitate towards sage green. Part of me now wonders if the baby has any influence on it. The main color theme of of our gender neutral nursery is sage green with touches of cream and beige. I didn’t plan on having the nursery colors that way, it just happened. As Tre and I were going through the baby registry and picking out furniture for the nursery room, I started to notice a pattern. I obviously avoided anything that was pink or blue or feminine or muscular pieces so it was all in sage green.
I personally think sage green is a beautiful color to wear for Spring & Summer and I can’t wait to fill my closet with this color haha. Truthfully, I haven’t bought any just yet. I’m waiting until after the baby is born so I have a better idea what my size will be. I don’t want to rush into purchasing anything since I know even after the baby is born, my body will be going through changes.
My Sage Green Fashion Picks
But it wouldn’t be me without sharing what I’m currently loving in sage green. There are so many good pieces out there. They range from garden dresses to loungewear to hair accessories. I also made sure that these are all relatively affordable prices.
1 Alpaca Sweater Tee
It’s a classic sweater tee and it is great for a transitional outfit. If you didn’t know this already it is also sustainable, and it’ll look great with the garden skirt.
2 Desmond Cut-Out Crossbody Bag
The Desmond cut-out and ring handle is what makes this bag so chic! It’s the perfect Spring & Summer bag.
3 Long-Length Robe
I actually own this robe. What stood out to me (aside from the color) is the longer length. This robe goes all the way to my calves which I love! Most robes are knee-length. I plan to pack this in my hospital bag.
4 Knot Headband in Liberty Print
Have you seen J.Crew’s collection in the Liberty Print? I’m obsessed and this headband is a great way to add a pop of color or Spring to your outfit.
5 Garden Tiered Ruffle Skirt
Doesn’t this skirt make you want to go to a garden party?! All you really need to pair with it is a solid tee and you are good to go.
6 Lake Pajamas Prima Cotton Set
Who doesn’t love Lake Pajamas?! I love that this set is a tank top which works great as the temperatures slowly rise.
7 Short Sleeve Camp Shirt
I actually featured this shirt in my top picks from the Free Assembly brand. Free Assembly is Walmart’s sustainable fashion brand – I know I can’t believe it’s from Walmart too!
8 Unwind Jogger Pajamas
You can never have too much loungewear. This set is soft and it comes with the jogger pants and matching sweatshirt.
9 Floral Button Midi Dress
I definitely want to buy this dress! It’ll make a perfect Spring dress or Easter dress. Since I know the baby will be born before the month ends, it’ll give me time to figure out what size to get.
10 Water Repellent Trench Coat
This is your classic trench coat style and the only difference is that it is in sage green. For sure a trench coat is a closet must-have!
11 Gloria Sandals
I am obsessed with these sandals and not surprised because they’re from Sezane! They’re only 2.75 inches and block heeled style. I’ve shared these in my weekly newsletter.
12 Flower Earrings
How pretty are these earrings?! I can’t believe they’re only $10.
13 Babydoll Collar Cotton Shirt
It has a gingham print with ruffle details. Such a unique take on a Spring blouse.
14 Veja Low-Top Sneakers
I’m all about the classic white sneakers and just love that these Vejas have a touch of sage green to them.
I’m really loving this colour!!
