All For Special Occasion Jumpsuits

I’m all for wearing special occasion jumpsuits during the holiday season or to a winter wedding. When I’m not wearing a dress, my alternative solution is to wear a jumpsuit. It’s a great way to combine the look a dress can give you but your legs can be covered. When it is freezing out, I try to cover up every exposed skin. Of course, Chicago went from Summer straight to freezing Winter. It’s already brutal. I just hope that a brutal Winter means we have a short Winter season. Because this past year, it lingered and we didn’t get a true Summer until the end of July. UGH UGH UGH.

Holiday Jumpsuit Outfit Ideas

My Jumpsuit

I meant to share this jumpsuit before we left for Italy. We shot this outfit right before, but of course, life happens and I was only able to post this now. Originally, I wanted to share how this jumpsuit is great for Fall weddings. But now that I think about it (because we are in full force Winter mode haha), it is great to wear as a Winter wedding guest outfit or for a holiday party! Basically it is a special occasion jumpsuit! I think the jacquard material is what makes this a special occasion jumpsuit. Personally, I think anything in jacquard screams holiday party. Don’t ya think?

Sizing

The length of this jumpsuit is spot on. I’m 5’4″ and it barely brushes the floor. And as you can see, I’m wearing flats. This jumpsuit will also look great with block heels. As far as the sizing, I’m slightly torn. I got a size small (which is my usual size), but I can’t tell if this jumpsuit is supposed to be slightly more fitted around the waist. I personally didn’t bother exchanging the size because I already like the way it looks.

    I hadn’t much thought to wear jumpsuits for the holiday season, but I love that it’s an option and I should definitely look into ideas a little further. This one is so pretty on you. I love the dusty mauve color!

    I love all your picks. My favorite are the olive green and the pink suede ones. I didn’t think about jumpsuits as I have been scrolling looking for things to wear to upcoming holiday parties.
