Remember the yellow jumpsuit I was talking about a couple weeks ago? I loved it so much that I got it in pink! But you know how sometimes the change of color of the same item shifts the style and fit a little bit? Well that’s the case with this pink linen jumpsuit. It’s not too big of a difference from the yellow one though. Personally, I think the only one who can tell the difference is the one wearing it.
Pink Linen Jumpsuit
This pink linen jumpsuit feels slightly larger even when I sized down. I’ll share more about the sizing in a bit. The top is roomier so I had to tighten up the knot more and the bottom half is wider. I didn’t mind the bottom half being wider because you all know I love a good wide-leg pants!
Before I share the size and fit of this jumpsuit, I will share my size. That way you get a better idea when I mention ‘true to size’ or ‘runs large’ etc. I also find LOFT sizes to be confusing because they are never consistent. Maybe it is just me, but I can’t stand when other influencers mention ‘true to size’, but I have no idea about their size and body type. It’s like hello, everyone’s body is different. I always mention my size so if you’re an avid reader, you can go ahead and skip this.
I weigh 140 lbs, my height is 5’4″, and chest size is 32C. And I have a straight body type, some say it is athletic with a bubble butt. So in my pants, I always have to make sure they can go over my butt haha. And of course, I always have the issue with the waist being too big. For bottoms such as pants, jeans, or skirts, I usually wear a size small, size 27, or size 4. For dresses, jumpsuits, and tops, I also wear a size small or size 4.
Pink Jumpsuit Sizing
Overall, the jumpsuit runs large. As I mentioned above, I usually wear a size 4 or small in jumpsuits. In this case, I size down to a size 2. If size 0 was available at the time of purchase, I would have bought size 0. That’s how big it runs on me.
The bust (the top half) is very roomy. So I definitely had to tighten up the top more so it fits more appropriately. There’s definitely enough room to accommodate several chest sizes.
Overall, I love this pink linen jumpsuit. It feels like I’m wearing pajamas but looks way cuter. So I didn’t mind the loose fit at all. I wore it on a very hot day and the linen fabric was perfect! Plus, it has pockets! I’m actually wearing it again as I’m typing this out haha.
By the way, how are we in the 2nd week of August already? The year started out slow and now it feels like the year is almost done. I don’t want Summer to end. Summertime is when I feel the most energized. However, I will admit that lately I’ve been struggling with feeling inspired and hence the lack of blog posts and lack of Instagram posts. I’m in a weird funk. I’m hoping that the little break I’ve been giving myself will bring back some inspiration. So I’m doing my best to give myself grace and learn to be easy on myself. How are you all doing? Is Summer going by quickly for you too?
