Merry Christmas!!!!

Even though it is currently Christmas Eve, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all are able to unwind and unplug and enjoy your time with family and friends. So hopefully, you are reading this before you spend time with family or after you have spent time with them.

This Christmas feels extra special because Carter is here with us. It is so crazy to think that our little guy was in my belly last year. I didn’t even know I was having a baby boy! (We waited to find out the gender.) Now, he’s only a few months away from turning one! So I can’t help but feel so sentimental. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I didn’t have much growing up, but I looked forward to hanging out with my extended family, eating TONS of delicious Filipino food, and making new memories. And I can’t wait for Carter to experience why Christmas is so magical.

I will say that I am slightly disappointed about the whole COVID situation this year. I didn’t think we would be in a similar situation as we were last holiday season. It feels like this holiday season is like playing the game Pac-Man. No matter how hard I try to dodge COVID, it feels like COVID is lurking around the corner waiting to ruin the holidays. Just like the ghosts in Pac-Man. Right when you get to the finish line, the ghost sneaks up and gets you. No matter where you turn, it’s right there. But that’s life. It’s not perfect and I have to learn to make the most out of it. And I hope you all are able to make the most out of it too despite the situation.

Our Holiday Card 2021

I was hesitant to share our holiday card this year. I kept asking myself, does anyone really care? Probably not, but every year I get so much joy out of giving them out to family and friends and sharing them with you all. This whole blog is all about things I love and I am ‘obsessed’ with. Hence, where I got my blog’s name.

So ta-da, here is our holiday card for 2021. Obviously, Carter had to be the center of attention and without a doubt it is my favorite Christmas card. Carter could not have been more perfect when we took our family photos for this card. He was so happy and full of smiles. It truly was difficult to narrow down the photos to be featured in our Christmas card.

Just like all the previous years, we created our holiday card through Minted. We always love their selection of cards and how easy it is to customize it. If you are curious about Minted, I wrote a thorough blog post about why we love Minted for last year’s Christmas card.

Am I the only that loves to go through all our previous holiday cards? It’s fun to see how much has changed yet is still the same. One day, I’ll create a little booklet of all of them. So if you are curious about our previous Christmas cards here’s 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015.
