I’ll be honest, the exact print of this long-sleeve jumpsuit was last worn in March. Seriously, right before the Chicago lockdown. I wore it to my friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday. Oddly enough, it was the last time I’ve been in the Loop (as in walked through the Loop since we have driven through there). But you know COVID happened, it didn’t seem appropriate to share this outfit, then summer came around, and before we knew it, it was the last day of September.
My Favorite Long-Sleeve Jumpsuits for Fall
The good thing is that this long-sleeve jumpsuit is great for an early Fall outfit too. Do you know how rare it is to find a long-sleeve jumpsuit?! VERY rare. Unfortunately, this exact print is not available, but they did come out with the exact jumpsuit with a burgundy and medium pink print. Which I happen to love too and might want to get it. This style of jumpsuit is called the Loveland Wide-Leg Jumpsuit and I love it so so so much.
I love it so much that I also own it in polka dots and I wore it during my trip in Venice. So if I get the pink and burgundy one, it would be my third Loveland Wide-Leg Jumpsuit. But if you loved the other prints I own, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for them. I’ve noticed Anthropologie has a history of bringing back prints. You can also rent my exact print from Nuuly and the polka dot version is also on Nuuly for rent. And if you love anything you rent from Nuuly, you can always purchase it at a fraction of the cost.
Anyways, if you are interested in the jumpsuit, here’s the deal with the size.
As always, before I share the sizing details of any outfit, I always share my size. That way you have an idea what I am referring to when I say things like “true to size.” Or you can use my size as a reference.
My height is 5’4″, I weigh 140 lbs, and my chest is 32C. My body type is straight except I have a bubble butt (which means in most cases I would have to size up with bottoms so it can go over my butt and sacrifice the waist being loose). For dresses, jumpsuits, and tops, I normally wear a size small or size 4. When it comes to bottoms such as jeans, skirts, or pants, I normally wear a size 27, size 4, or size small.
So for this wide-leg jumpsuit, I believe it fits true to size. Therefore, I am wearing a size 4. I had no issues getting the bottom half to fit over my butt and it fits perfectly around my waist.
Reasons To Love This Jumpsuit
- I love this jumpsuit so much because it fits me so well. There’s no awkward fit anywhere and it flatters me.
- The wide-leg style is amazing and it has pockets.
- I love that it is appropriate for any occasion. Since the top half is styled like a button down shirt, it can be work appropriate too.
- So easy to layer with a coat or jacket and it makes it look super chic. When I wore this, I wore my suede moto jacket over it.
- You can rent other prints at Nuuly. Here is the polka dot one and here is the leopard print one (that’s the one in this photo)
