I’ve been hearing lots of bloggers try out Amazon workout leggings and I’ll admit I was skeptical. Only because I am one of those who splurge on workout clothes. I truly believe in getting the best fitness attire in order to perform your best. Since Amazon Fashion reached out for a selection of gifted items, I decided why not go for the Amazon leggings.

Sizing Information

Whenever I do a review, I always share my size. I personally think this is important because I understand that everyone’s body is different. Hopefully it will help you figure out your sizing. It frustrates me when other bloggers don’t share their size. It doesn’t help me figure out what size I should get. My true to size may not always apply to everyone.

I weigh 140 lbs, straight body type with a bubble butt, and I’m 5’4″ tall. My chest is 32C. For tops, dresses, and skirts, I usually wear a size small or size 4. For bottoms and jeans, I usually wear a size small or size 27 or size 4.

What I Wore

Whenever I do reviews, I always try to keep certain clothing items consistent. This time I wore the Dare Devil Sports bra the entire time. I also got it on Amazon and I give my thoughts on it as well below!

Amazon Sports Bra Review

SIZING: Fits true to size. I’m wearing a small.

REVIEW: Overall, I like the fit and I can tell it will support me real well in a workout. I got the Dark Grey color and it comes in 4 other colors. The con is that there is no padding. I usually get sports bras with padding because I don’t want everyone to know I’m cold haha. However, the fabric is thick and has lining. So with a workout shirt over the bra, I would think it would have coverage. Based on the photos, I thought this sports bra had a longer length- almost like a crop top. But the length was a normal sports bra. So I was a little disappointed about that.

VERDICT: While the length isn’t what I expected, I liked everything else about the sports bra. So I’m keeping it.

SIZING: Part of me thinks it runs large. I’m currently wearing a small and while it does fit well, I’m used to workout leggings fitting more snug. In the crotch area, it feels like there’s extra fabric. Plus, I like it when the waist area is more snug. But when I read the reviews, a lot of the people like that these leggings are fitted but not snug. So I don’t know, I might just keep this small and try it out and if there are any changes, I’ll update this review.

REVIEW: As I mentioned, I’m not sure if it runs large or not only because I’m so used to really snug leggings. So the true test will be to see how it will hold up in a workout. The rest of the legs fits really nice. My only issue is the waist and hips area. I love the thickness of the fabric and the diagonal line design. It comes in 5 other colors.

VERDICT: Kept it.

SIZING: Fits true to size.

REVIEW: This is my favorite workout leggings out of all of them. I usually don’t get crazy with prints, but this leopard print was so fun. In my opinion, the leopard print is more subtle and classy. I was wearing a dark grey underwear underneath and it didn’t appear to be see-through. However, to be safe I recommend not to wear any bright colored undies. It also comes in 2 other colors in the leopard print.

VERDICT: Kept it!

Outdoor Voices Dupe

SIZING: Fits true to size. Well, the fit is similar to the Show Stopper leggings. So it fits fine, but like I said I do like the waist and hips area to be more snug. But who knows, maybe this is a good thing.

REVIEW: If you are looking for a more affordable Outdoor Voices leggings, then this is the one you’ll love! These leggings are full-length versus cropped. Overall, I like the fit and the quality. But I will have to workout in these to see if I truly like the fit or would like to size down. I would say these workout leggings are made more for yoga. So these have lots of flexibility in them. I’m wearing the black/mauve/mauve heather color. It comes in 3 other color combinations.

VERDICT: Kept it.

SIZING: Runs slightly large. So I got my usual size (small), and it fits fine but I’m afraid that after a lot of movement it will be loose. If you read the Amazon reviews, it was mixed. Some claim it is too large and some say fits too tight. In my opinion, I think you should get your true size.

REVIEW: The material is thick. So I think if you are doing an intense workout, this would not be the right leggings for it. The name is misleading. Usually when I see sculpt I think they’re perfect for HIIT workouts. However, if you want an affordable leggings and are just starting working out, this is the right one to start with. These leggings come in 6 other colors. I’m wearing Navy.

VERDICT: Kept it.

Final Thoughts On The Leggings

Overall my first impression of these Amazon Workout leggings is that I’m impressed with the quality considering they are all affordable. I love the style and the fit on the legs. However, as you may have noticed in my reviews, I question the sizing a bit. The waist and hips area are not as snug as I expected them to be. They’re not falling off, but I wonder how they will hold up with lots of movement.

Do I recommend them? Yes, I do. You can’t beat the price. If you are into athleisure, they’re great for just everyday wear as well. As I wear them in my next workouts, I will update this post. Hopefully this clarifies the sizing of the leggings!

    Nice review! I live in the gym and always in need of a new pair of leggings. I am not into wild prints either but I am digging the leopard print ones as well as the tri color leggings probably because I always go for a black pair. Does the sport bra come in a tank form or do you have any recommendations for a sports top that has longer length? I hope your week is going well so far and happy Thursday!
